Salazar paced the room thinking, why was Godric so stubborn, couldn't he just move his plate when Salazar asked him to? Simple things set him off, and the others knew it. "Searpente!" called Salazar in a hoarse yell. A scuttle from below told him Searpente was coming. He quickly slipped the piece of parchment under his desk lamp and stood waiting for his sons arrival. |

Say something about your house and try to get newbies to join it! We came up with these in Gryffindor: Newbies, when you join the notorious Hogwarts party animals that are Gryffindor house, you've got a long tradition of gettin' down to uphold. Now tuck out that shirt. Gryffindor, the house of bravery and courage... and not forgetting the parties and mischevious acts happening all over the common room. Join us and you'll never be bored...Live up to the important Gryffindor reputation, whilst having a good time and enjoying life, put down the Slytherins be more ambitious and more cunning, outsmart the Ravenclaws, and keep being loyal to the ones we love...Be better than the rest... JOIN GRYFFINDOR!!! I think we've established that Gryffindor isn't just the best...we totally rock!!! i agreeeeeeeeee we are the bravest the smartest the..... we rock i agreeeeeeeeee we are the bravest the smartest the..... we rock Brave, smart, witty, smart, ... umm... smart! We deffinitely are smart. We probably are brave although we can't really test our braveness here. I'd say we're brave!! 'm brave!*buzz* *sceam* It's a bee! It's a bee! Get it away! * starts to run around in circles, arms waving about my head* ( By the way I wouldn't have actrully do that!) Join us! Newbies! We have pet Griffin named Jorn a trampouline a phscologist a bar that serves anything even snow and there are constant .... PARTIES! Yeah! It's cool being in Gryffindor. also an other cool thing about Griffindor is that you can hang out with all of us AND Spotty! Yeah, there is leopard Spotty, Emsful... Not sure what he is, Mascot Jorn who eats cookies and cute little dragon. He is not dangerous at all because we always keep an eye on him! Alex is more dangerous when it comes to burning stuff than the dragon! Plus, we have Frank the Flying Desk Lamp! And Minion vs. Desk Lamp Snowball fights! I'm going to go make that topic now!
Thanks to Alexandra, Simatra, Scarlet Lioness, and Chimera! ....And ME! |

Once Merv arrived at the Hufflepuff staircase and entered the Common Room it was well after midnight.
It was empty.
I'm just going to wait untill those two come back. Scare them a bit more maybe... he chuckled to himself and turned off the lamp next to the armchair he had settled in.
The only light was the slowly dying fire. |

So, I got this gift for Christmas. It was a book called "Children of the Lamp: The Akhenaten Adventure" The next one will be "Children of the Lamp: The Blue Djinn of Babylon" to be released in February of 2006. It is quite a good book. It's about a couple of kids who discover that they are djiins (the djinn, is the original name of the genie) when they get their wisdom teeth taken out way to early. It's kind of hard to explain unless you've read it. Anyway, has anyone else read the book? |

Jellooo i'm Fierce. Not literally, of course... except in special circumstances.
I'm currently working at a bank (the bane of my existence, but the only thing supporting it!), but my dream of dreams is to study linguistics and perhaps TESOL at UNIVERSITY!!!!!!!!! So that I may teach others the joy of languages, written, spoken and unspoken.
For now though, my brain is subsisting on what would be the equivalent of one grain of rice a day in dietary terms concerning stimulation and growth. If you catch my meaning, my brain is starving! Hope to be out of here soon. (this job, not the board!)
I LOVE harry potter, the puzzles of dan brown, the notion of dinotopia (i'm a kid at heart), Homestar runner, ice skating, wandering and most animals (the ones that don't run out from the neighbours yard and growl at me). I also love the lamp shade at the mall that's shaped like a reimax... i feel like i could float away in the little basket. Maybe someday I will.
I hope this has given you a glimpse into my current madness Don't worry, it's only temporary. Until the next insanity takes hold! |

amateurs... once when i was very little i was going home from school talking to a friend of mine.we were walking along the street when i bumped my head in a lamp-post and fell on the ground.i was uncouncious for 5 minutes or so... or once me and a friend(who was very strong because he was working out)were on our way to a very old building-kind of a place where we hang out.I tried to push the door open when it needed to be pulled. My frien, obviously shocked that i can't open a flimsy old door said -let me give you a hand and he pushed and the door came loose .
Once i saw a woman in front of my school thet looked like my mum and i had some trouble. So i decided to come clean-i started confessing all of my "sins" to a complete stranger and after a few minutes the lady turned around to face me and said"you must be mistaken-i don't have any children".I was so embarrased i ran away to hide |
