Sam made her way to her car in the underground car park of her apartment building. It was accessed via an elevator. Sam leaned back on the mirrored wall of the elevator and stared across at her reflection. She was very annoyed at the marks on her face, even though they were mostly conceiled.
Suddenly Sam started. She stood up straight and turned around ,facing the wall she had been leaning on. She looked into the mirror, studying her eyes. Then she closed them and pressed her hands on the mirror. She tried speaking internally.
'I can feel you.' she began. She waited for a response. When none came, she pressed on. 'It's like your hands are overlapping mine, your chest is pressing out from mine, pushing me forward. I can feel... you wanting to respond to me. My eye was hurting just now and I felt my had go up before I had thought to rub at it. This is going to take some getting used to. ' Sam could feel William stirring near the surface of her skin. It was eerie, kind of like what she had thought being possessed would feel like. But, it felt quite nice. Safe. Warm. Comforting. But, she was still so unaware as to how much control William could take if he chose to. If it had not been her fault that he was taken, would she be so willing to house him this way? Would she have had a choice? Still, she felt oddly connected, and wondered if it was the telepathy, or something more.
The elevator door opened and the brightly lit garage came into view.

Sam threw herself down the stairs a flight at a time, her power to push back practically smashing the concrete steps. She was breathing fast, her mind racing now, her hair wet with perspiration. She finally stopped in front of an exit door. Yanking it open she found it was the basement carpark. She stepped out into the cold space. There were cars everywhere, it must be a long term parking facility. Her shoes echoed on the pavement. Her breathing seemed loud. She held her breath, listened, and then looked around for an office or a box where the keys would be stored. Seeing a large metal box on the far wall, she exhaled and ran toward it.
"Hey!" Someone shouted out. Sam nearly choked and she froze where she stood. Slowly she turned around and faced the slightly overweight security guard. She gawked at him.
"What are you doing here? No one should be in the building today." the guard approached her, reaching for his walkie talky. When he was close enough to see Sam in the light, he stopped. "What happened to you? You're bleeding.." He brought the walkie talkie up to his mouth. "Hey Jamie, there's a woman down here, looks like she's been beat up. Just came out of the building." He let the reciever go and only static returned. He held it down again. "Jamie do you copy?" Static. The man put his walkie talkie back onto his belt and went to remove his gun.
"Don't." Sam reached out her hand to show she meant no harm. He pulled his weapon anyway and fired. A long stream of electricity flew out of the weapon - it was designed to knock her out. Sam saw it all play in slow motion and managed to throw herself to the floor before the stream hit her. Instead the charge bounced off the wall behind her in a shower of sparks. She rolled to the side, stood up, and pushed out at the guard, knocking him off his feet. She waved her hand and allowed the man's head to be knocked just the right way to knock him out. She raced over to check that he was okay and then removed the keys and walkie talkie from his belt. She jogged up the middle of the carpark, rolling the keys in her hand and trying to find a car to use. But then she was compelled to simply leave the garage, so she turned to her left and pushed through an emergency exit. There, on the street was William, down on one knee, his hands on his head.
"William!" she screamed, and ran to him. From the rooftop above, Sam could hear a sickening crack, and she turned to look in time to see the whole edge of the top of the building crumble and fall down toward them. She reached out, slowing it's asent until it hung suspended in mid air. Then she flung her hands to the right, tossing the stones to the ground several meters away from her and William. The crash shook the ground, and William fell over. Sam moved to assist. She wrapped her arms around him and then tilted her head up to the rooftop again. The dust was clearing, and the Pusher stood, small and still, on the edge of what was left of the rooftop. He stepped out and dropped, landing like a cat on the ground in front of them. Sam swallowed hard and layed William down flat. She stood up and held her hands out, ready to fight.

William was at loss of what to do standing there amazed that there was a telepath walking along the roof above him. The telepath had a perfect shield around their mind. a wall of impenetrability. William could still feel Sam's mind, which broke within seconds. Once the telepath had intruded into Sam's mind the wall of protection surrounded her mind too. Then William heard something. It was small and he could only just hear it in his own mind. It was Sam calling his name. William had to see what was happening. He quickly found a cowering old man in one of the building and had him run across to the window and look down on the scene that lay before him. All that William and the old man had time to see was Sam fleeing across the roof and down a set of stairs.
Quickly retreating from the old man's mind William enveloped Sam’s mind. Not taking control but protecting it from the telepath who had just started to attack Sam. William quickly notified Sam that he was present but had time for no more as the telepath launched his first attack. The pain was excruciating and it was all William could do to hold on. It was as if a hundred hot knifes had been driven into William's skull. William prepared himself again but instead of waiting he mentally through himself at the telepath on the roof. William was tired and he hoped that the telepath would soon leave but until then William was in for the fight of his life.

Inu could barely contain himself as he left the room for a moment. He covered his mouth, smothering a growl. This was not the werewolf developing in him, oh no. This was her, and it was blowing his mind how she was NATURALLY like this. She was born this way, and has been nursing this part of herself her whole life. Inu wanted to play with everyone like they were small, defenseless creatures. He had to hunt, and soon. He concentrated on his breathing, and managed to control himself. He had to eat, so he returned to the kitchen.
"Sit down, ladies. Yuki will prepare us some breakfast. " As he said this, there was a loud crack, and Yuki was there.
"Yes master, you want some breakfast? Forgive me, I have not served you as yet!" Yuki groveled. Inu smiled.
"Not to worry, with all the coming and going, you have done very well. Please make us a full breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pastries, porridges, fish, .. all of it. Spare nothing. " Inu set the task and then sat down at the table again. "I will clear this," he said, and gathered up his potion making equipment. He moved them to a display table against the wall and then sat down at the table, taking in the company with his eyes. Yuta, Ouki and Neko were each uniquely beautiful and deliciously dangerous. His senses were so heightened he allowed himself a minute to really notice their scents, their particular sounds, the swish of long hair, the crunch of gel on another. He was actually enjoying the idea of killing, not just for the end game of a the rage that came with being a werewolf, and not just for his own sadist desires, but for this new found intensity that was as true to his core as his own heart pushed blood to the rest of his body. He wanted to surgically disect. He ached to break the mind of his prey. His every thought was ticking over with ideas of how to kill in the cruelest way. He diverted his thoughts to random faces he had crossed and got lost in his daydream. A crooked smile crossed his lips, but his thought were soon interupted by someone speaking.

William had thought that all he would need to do was distract the thing, which is why he had sent Sam up to fight it, but that didn’t seem to be enough. Sighing he felt Sam’s terror and thought it would be best to help her.
He searched around and found that the cashier was hiding behind the counter as the fight took place and with a few suggestions he stood up obediently and charged at the creature while William began to climb the latter into the shop.
The attack had surprised the creature and the cashier got it in a head lock. “Tie it up.” William said to Sam. William could tell that no one was left in the store but the creature, Sam, the cashier, and William. William commanded the cashier to leave the store and to lock up on the way out.
Sam informed him that the creature was tied up. William breathed. He had never tried to force information from anything. Whenever he had done it the person was unaware. Would it be harder when they were resisting?
William felt the things mind right in front of him and he started tapping around in front of his feet walking forward with his hand out stretched. As he looked at the things mind he realized something he had never noticed. The mind, which he had always seen as a light, seemed to be concentrated in one point. He placed his hand on that point and found it to be the things forehead. William closed his eyes and felt the thing twitching under his hand.
He found that the thing was resisting and it was much, much harder. It was like hitting at a wall with a bat, but William was making progress. He could feel sweat pouring down the side of his head felt the thing shaking violently under his hand. Then it screamed.
The scream was terrible. It was shrill and unearthly like nothing William had ever heard before. William to almost screamed for he felt the things pain as William passed into its mind. William smiled, relived that he had made it this far, but there was still much work to do.

"Are you kidding?" Sam looked up, horrified. She was still dressed in her jogging clothes, and did not at all feel up for a fight. But william couldn't go either. She wished Raijin had given her a cell number to call. She cursed to herself, and climbed.
Moving the manhole cover off once she reached the top, allowed it to float so as not to scrape and make any noise, and carried bounced herself up with one push. She landed on the floor of a shop somewhere in the market sector. She could tell by the contents. This was an old area, still determined to sell crushed herbs and spices and fresh plants and other such items. All of these were mostly preserved and packaged now. The city did not allow for any kind of growth; all fresh produce was delivered from overseas or the country.
Sam scanned the area. The shop was dark and dusty, and there were barrels of spices and powders everwhere. There was room to the right, the back area, and to her left, the shop entrance. Someone was at the front counter, serving a customer. Sam peered around the wall and decided they were not who she was looking for. Sam felt a presense too close behind her and she stood bolt upright, freezing where she stood. Whoever it was , was breathing rattly, and was a good foot taller than her. Sam turned around and was looking into a black robe. She looked up into the face and what she saw made her utter one word.
"Help." she put her hands up to move the creature, and it started to fly back from her push, but not before it grabbed her hands and brought her with it, crashing them both against the far wall, spilling shelf after shelf of jars into a shower glass down on them.
