A human who has the eyes of the Death God, is able to see everyone's time of death...except that of a fellow human Death Note's owner. Which means...that girl distinguished Light from the rest because she saw only his name, without the time of death.

Ya I got it. The girl is a popular model and all she wants is to become Light's girlfriend. Since she got the eye power, she is able to see L's real name...

Eventually she saw L's real name but was arrested before she got the chance to let Light know L's name. And...to keep Light safe and not to disclose anything about the Death Note, she chose to die. She asked the Death God she had to kill her off but the Death God told her another way, and that is to transfer the Death Note to another person so she will lose all memories concerned with the Death Note but will retain her feelings to Light. And the Death Note was transferred to Light. But in the end, Light gave up that Death Note but since he had one himself, he wouldn't lose memories of Death Note but he wouldn't be able to see the original Death God of that Death Note. Sounds confusing....

I don't know what he's thinking but he chose to give up that Death Note. Perhaps having another Death Note is more troublesome especially with the police investigation. Anyway he opted to be imprisoned so that he can prove his 'innocence'
Wondering what is he planning.
Maybe this series doesn't last very long...perhaps 7 volumes enough?

Yesterday I had some free time so I watched 5 eps of Anime o_o

Last episode of Pretear and Angelic Layer. They were really due to end, so I was happy to finish watching them.

And 2 new shows. Chrono Crusade - which I didn't really like and Aquarian Age. Aquarian Age is actually this really popular card game in Japan, I dont know if you heared of it. I saw like eps. 3 and 4 of the show and they were pretty interesting... will see.

oh and the lil monster is so slow today o.o May be its just for me...It takes ages to make one post...

Lol...I've been away from anime contact ever since the cable TV stopped showing new animes.
And about that Animax (24 hr anime channel)...it is here in Singapore at last...but we have to subscribe a digital system (whose uses are rather redundant like the ancient games!)...more $$$$
And with so much things to do, I hardly find time to watch TV...and talk about internet addiction! I spend at least 2-3 hrs and just yesterday alone, I spent 6 hrs playing online game (Maple Story)

I don't play card games. The only card game I play is erm...Deck card, UNO

Crono Crusade - does it have anything to do like the Crono series games?

oh I dont blame you. I don't download anything anymore o.o hehe. But TV - in US you also need to be subscribed to the digital cable, however we already have that (my husband's soccer channels are on digital cable) so its basically free for me ^-^

No, Chrono Crusade has nothing to do with Chrono Trigger/Cross (i wish it would). But its really popular in Japan (or used to be like 2-3 month ago), according to Newtype magazine. They used to write about it nonstop. <_<'

Internet - oh yeah. Right now my addiction is devided between Star Ocean (which I play when I get home) and Fishing on Gaia (Huffleduck was talking about it) which I do erm...*looks around* not at home . People have been mentioning Maple Story many times lately... a lot of people on Gaia play it too. (may be because they are both free...)

As for Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden...it is such a slow wait...but the story is very intrigueing

Oh, Princess Tutu DVD came out Must...order...now! I don't think I will buy the whole series (its pretty long and ~$22 per DVD - no thank you). But I decided to get the first DVD...and maybe the last XD who cares about the middle, righ? lol I did that for 3rd Sailor moon Series at first ^-^

LOL...so the middle part is non essential you mean? But there are loads of anime nowadays that you might get lost if you don't stick to the storyline. Eg, Twelve Kingdom, Saiyuki...

Erm...there are only 2 volumes of Genbu Kaiden translated so...
Oh ya...more interesting part...Uruki (the seishi who controls the wind and turns into a woman) is the crown prince of Hokkan and his father, the emperor, wants him dead because of a prophecy that said his son will kill him.

I guess you are rigth - it depends on an anime. Some of them - i would recommend skipping the middle as they are way too long. Like Angelic Layer - 1st/last episode - you are good to go.

Poor Uruki T_T so unloved. Do you like the art of Genbu Kaiden? I was looking at Ceres manga and you know I never finished reading it (didn't even get thought half of it) because I though the art was really rushed. Like in Yui's Art books - its beautiful because she takes time to draw it out. But in manga - its very harsh.

May be its just me though .... i don't know. Im really picky about manga...

I think Watase Yuu's art has improved a lot. It's beautifully drawn...haha I shall find time to scan the drawings for you to see.

Although I have only seen an episode of Twelve Kingdom, it is sufficient for me to realise it is an easy-to-lose-track-anime. My friends who watched it advised me to watch the whole anime

i just saw my first episode of gundam seed destiny. God these people's lives suck, but they look beuatiful doing it.

Kira has a serious restraint thing going on with his clothes. Lacus sounds even better in japanese. Athran sounds a little strange with a deep voice, especially since he's still a teenager. Since when has that coffee guy still been alive, albeit a cyborg?
