i thought that as well for a while until i realised how it was about harrys development, not necessarily him fighting, but his mental development, his knowledge of voldermort etc.
and wel his overall realisation of what task is ahead of him

Goblet of Fire would be my favourite, but HBP comes in a close second. They're both the perfect length and they've both got great plotline, though I must say GoF wasn't looking too good to begin with, but the final few chapters really were fantastic. HBp was just generally really good the whole way.
The only reason OoTP isn't up there is because of Haryr in it. His attitude just really annoyed me in it, it's just to see he's grown up a bit in this.

The GoF deffinately had the most action in it, with all the tasks, which although Harry had a little help with it was the first time we saw him knowing what he was doing rather than just guessing and bravery!

My favorite was Prisoner of Azkaban. The twist at the end was so fantastic & unexpected!

my favourite is prisoner of askaban, mostly because sirius is my favorite character and we get a lot of him in this book, and then it is the only book where we don't have Harry fighting LV...it kinda makes it special in a way

and i was also disapointed of OoTP...well again because of sirius... why did he had to die???

<3 sirius....

There must have been a reason other than JKR needing Harry to have to go on alone. I want some deep mystery!

I liked HBP the best, followed closely by OotP. I like the books more and more the deeper in the series we go.

I liked 1, 3, 5 in that order so I'll probably like 7 the 4th best! But I can't explain why I like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Unless, of course, I don't want to.

I choose Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. A little bit boring at the first part but as I continue to read it, I just can't stop scanning throughout the pages. I like the Triwizard tournament. I was surprised to found out it wasn't Mad-Eye Moody at all. A great twist in the story.

I dunno. I suspected something like that. and it was when he took Harry away from Dumbledore that I knew for certain.

Maybe it's just me, but i think alot of people under estimate and kinda forget about the 2nd book. It was where the first horcrux was introduced and HP found out he was a parcelmouth! What does everyone else think?
