Well i think we shouldnt be able to do that......that is ppl's private information and everyone is entitled to privacy. I respect other ppl's privacy...or at least i try ;) :evil:

but...um...the idea of a profile is that its optional....you fill out precisely what information you want people to see and leave the rest blank.....

in which case viewing the profile is not violating privacy because the person filled it out because they wanted people to know it

depends. one time, during a game i was doing at PGamers, i got a tip that someone in the game had two aliases in the game. so, i went and checked out all the profiles, and it turned out that two of them had the same birthday. i thought nothing of it, and moved on. but when those two identities started acting oddly, such as one pledging alliegiance to the other in his sig, i checked. the birthdays were different. i confronted him, and he confessed. so, yeah, iusually check profiles.
