Why were the girls from Beauxbaton (sp) looking like flight attendants? By the way, how did you like the DEs? Weren't they wonderful with those pointed hoods? They looked like Ku-Klux-Klan... though I'm not sure how comfortable and practical those hoods are when it comes to fighting...

Ahem, this is something no-one has picked up on. The owl that bit Harry was Black. It was meant to be Sirius's own owl - even though in real life black owls don't exist they used make up on the owl to make it look black.

Pigwidgeon in the documentary I saw was a weeny owl, no bigger than a hand. I'm disappointed that they didn't show him.

I also agree with the portrayal of DD. Richard Harris was excellent and everything you imagine DD to be - calm, collected, calculating, genuine and loving. Michael Gambon tends to overplay the character and I think because he has never read all of the books perhaps in order in one go, perhaps he doesn't quite grasp the way we have imagined him to be.

I think we've all imagined DD as a grandfather type person, or at least I certainly have.

I didn't like the lack of Barty explanation, the fact there was no elves whatsoever. Tthough I knew this before the film as I'd read it somewhere, I was still disappointed not to see them.

I think there were some funny scenes missed out - Krum pronouncing Hermy-ninni, hermy-own bit was missed and I really wanted to see that! I also wanted to see a bit of the World cup played!

I just saw the movie last night. Well...as a movie it was quite full of adrenaline. But it's lacking all sort of explanation. My cousin's sister, who has only saw bit of the movie CoS (she hadn't read the books) was so puzzeled in the end she liked kept asking as question after that for an hour or two.

I didn't like how Voldemort came out... All soft and kind.

And we get to see too little of the charachters. Like Snape barely says a few words. And Hermione called Krum stupid... :) Does that happen in the book? They did have a few funny things... Like the owl biting... But in the end it did seem a stupid movie. I didn't enjoy it that much.

:D

I just watched a bit PoA last night and I didn't realise that Flitwick actually looked like that in PoA too! How come we didn't spot that before!!!! Was he like it in CoS? I guess I'll have to watch them again. Mind you it's so hard to watch the earlier ones now knowing what's to come!
