R.A.B One Person Working Alone?

Postby KAD » Saturday 10 December 2005 2:08:31pm

Just a thought.

If I was to initial something I would write it without full stops i.e. S C H or SCH. The otherthing is that DD needed Harry to make him finishing drinking no matter what.

I therefore think that R.A.B is more than one person. I think it is at least two people, if not three.

I've wondered whether or not R. A. B. would have needed assistance with the water. Maybe he (or she, to be fair) had an accomplice who died getting to the locket. They would almost certainly require assistance, if the greatest wizard alive couldn't get through alone.

The note is clearly written by only one person.

And that one person signs it R.A.B. Surely he/she would have signed his individual name this being the case.

The "group" of 3 didn't write it because it gives references to "I".

And If I was going to initial a letter I'd put dots in there.

so how come dd needed harry to help him finish drinking, but R.A.B could do it alone?
I don't know what to think about the boat situation, quiet right only one full wizard could sit in it - but maybe a house elf, squib or muggle??

Well, maybe RAB was a dark wizard. DD wouldn't necessarily know the any other way around the water, but maybe RAB knew of the enchantment or curse or whatever put on the water, and knew a way around it.

I like the idea of them being or being assisted by a goblin or house elf (or free elf, which I would like to see).
It's fits in perfectly.

Yes but for all we know RAB took out the original potion and replaced it with something more deadly

Personally I think RAB is Sirus' brother. The letter implies a disgruntled follower of Vol, and we know Regas was bad. And we also know that Regalas is now dead, though not how. So, the question is, did he manage to destory it? If not, where did he put it?? It would be conveniant, and time saving in terms of plot if it's actually in the Black household which Harry now owns. Maybe Kreacher has it, as he's rather fond of hoarding family trinkits?

How RAB (whoever he/she was) did it by themselves I don't know. I like the house elf idea, which again could be Kreacher.

Maybe you can only put a hand in if you have the dark mark, like the door to the astronomy tower. If you recall it wasn't until the doorway was collapsed that anyone other than DE's could get through.
