Is this alright with you, Crookshanks? I've made Steph a Animetamorphmagus. Someone that can transform into any animal at will.

But Steph can also train herself because of this to master the normal arts of metamorphmagi, and she's working really hard at it.

Morphena is doing the opposite. He's training himself to take on all animal forms, not just that of his animagus form, the phoenix.

Okay, and as a side note: Jerry is a seventh year, he's just short and immature for his age. And..... anyway, is Morphena like, more than a wizard if he can take on multiple animal forms?

Morphena is already a full metamorphmagi. If he were to take on all animal forms, he would be an especially advanced breed, known as animetamorphmagi.

Following that, it would be just plants to conquer.

Inanimate objects he has the power to do already, but the need has not arisen and he doesn't like the feel of it.

How does he become an inanimate object? Aren't inanimate objects... well... inanimate? And if he goes into them, doesn't that make them living, animate objects?

Yes I see the complications with that. :D

It all depends on point of view.

He will not be making inanimate objects animate.

Let's have an example... umm..

A door handle. Morphena becomes a door handle. If Morphena wants to move, he will simply shift himself (the object) into the new position. It won't actually be the same object anymore.
The old object will remain in the same position.

Hm... smart thinking. Anyway, I've revealed that Jerry's an Metamorph. I thought it would go better along with the story as metamorphosis is kinda what this story seems to revolve around.

*Sigh*...

Everybody wants to be a metamorph...

I've a right mind to reject any more  .

But it wouldn't be a useful trait if everyone had it. It'd get boring.

And metamorphmagi don't have to be registered, I believe. Because they're born with it.

Animagus are born with it too, very rarely do they learn it. Anyway, as a side note: Jerry's not the "real" John. Jerry's personality isn't John's personality. You don't really know his real personality at the moment. He's registered at Hogwarts as Jeremy Pinkets, but he doesn't know who he really is.

Since when are animagus born with it? Page reference? Interview URL?

Hmm, so he doesn't even know who he is? Hmm, the plot thickens...

Because they were only students, and it's extremely hard to do.
