Odd powers

Postby TDM » Thursday 3 April 2003 2:28:40am

some people claim that they have superhuman powers, but others actually do. they might not be very good powers, but useful in some way.

My Superpower: I can take a blow to the head against a cement wall and it not even hurt.

though this can be explained simply by i might have an extra thick layer of protection around my brain.

I can usually predict who has a crush on who even when other people can't or don't believe me. Also, I have the tendency to be able to predict what's going to happen (as in, endings to relationships, etc., etc., etc.), but nobody believes me even though they almost always comes true, which is why I call myself Cassandra sometimes :)

I'm afraid i'm just a mere mortal when it comes to super-powers and stuff. I wish i could whack my head on a cement wall without pain...i could try using my hair-doo as padding, but thats cheating isn't it?

I saw a programme on seeing ht efuture in dreams. It was called' the man who paints the future'. It was about this man in his 70's who kept having scary nightmares about awful accidents and stuff, and when he woke up he painted what he saw, wrote down important info then had his picture taken with the paintings outside a sealed clock.
He reckoned he had seen the september 11 attacks, the concord crash in France and the Dunblane shootings in Scotland and his pictures were identical. I really frightened me becasue the dates of when he painted the picture exactly matched the dates of the events, but 5 years before.

beccaroo . . . one piece of advice: Never trust the television. Some money hunter out there could be feeding on the gullibility of us poor folk

I forgot . . . there was that big hoax going around after 9/11 that some Greek philosopher had predicted the attacks. I forget exactly how the predictions went, but they were false, anyway, so don't believe everything you hear :)

This guy just seemed so genuine. He was put on a lie detector test and he wasn't lying. Besides why would he lie? He wasn't making any money from it.
The women who took the pictures at the bank said they could back him up on dates aswell. It just seems so convincing.
