In the Horcruxes chapter after Harry and Dumbledore have seen the memory and began discussing things Dumbledore says that when Voldemort found out that the diary had been destroyed "I am told his anger was terrible to behold." Who told Dumbledore this? Was it Snape?? Maybe a or another spy (we still don't know if Snape is evil yet.)

Any theories about how Dumbledore found out about Voldemorts anger. Any scaR burnings before HBP (where Voldemort starts using occlumency against Harry and the scar burnings stop happening) that were never explained?

Anyone have any ideas?

More than likely Snape told him, although it doesn't really matter.
Anyone could probably just guess that he might have been a little mad after a part of his soul had been destroyed :-?

Dumbledore seems to know a lot of stuff - Merope's infatuation is discussed only in parseltongue, and as far as I'm aware Dumbledore doesn't speak parseltongue.

Didn't he get a memory from one of them. Meropes father or brother?
DD could have had a sort of translation done then.
