another death in hp 7

There is going to be more than one death in book 7 of Harry Potter. People who know Harry are going to start laying down their lives for him and the rest of the wizarding world. Luna is going to be killed because Voldemort will thnik Harry is in love with her, since Peeves was spreading that around the place and Draco saw them together at Slughorn's party. I think Ron and Hermione are in trouble too.

The question here is whether Draco is going to return to Voldemort at all to tell him about what he saw or to go into hiding...

do we know there's gonna be a death (or more) on book 7, has JKR said anything about this? i mean it's very likely but is it a fact?

anyways i'm almost sure ron and herm` would last at least till the very end of the book cuz that's one of the diffrances between harry and vold (and snape) - harry has friends, he knows to love, he will need his friends to the end

I think Ginny will die, sacrificing herself right at the end in such a way that Harry will be able to go on and win.

No source, no evidence, just my own sense of litery inevitability.

i can see that happening sort of to emphasye the message of there are things in life you cant prevent and prices that you have to pay especially if you choose to fight the good fight. but on the other hand i think and i hope that Harry has enough negative motivation meanning motivation out of revenge and anger dispare and misery (sorry for the bad spelling by the way...) and not enough positive motivation such as people and friends to save - at least he wont have enough of that and he'll be completely broken if Ginny dies. i think that JK means (wheather that is possible or not) that Harry loves and needs Ginny very very much inspite of the little time they spent together as a couple, so i think her death wil be harder than any before (besides his parents maybe) and too hard for him

Do we know for sure that Harry is going to defeat Voldemort? Maybe she's gonna put another spin on it and have Harry die, and the wizarding world go to hell with voldemort being the all-powerful wizard, and basically undefeatable once Harry is dead?

Not likely, but ANYTHING is possible....

well i wish thats what she'll do *ducks under his desk to avoid barrage of stones and arrows* and not cuz i dont like harry or cuz i dont like happy endings, just i think it would be better for the plot this way....

what i would like to happen though is that after sometime either 5-10 years or a lot more, someone (or a group of people) decides that it's enough and tries to stop vold for real like harry and dumbledore tried and then they succeed to show that you dont have to be harry to do it you just have to really want it and be willing to give everything for the cause...

but there's no way it happens - its still supposed to be a children book

We're forgetting, there's a character who would be overjoyed at the idea of taking a bullet for Harry: Dobby.

very good thinking, didnt occur to me, he would certainly do it in a heartbeat, but how do you see it happen? where? do you think harry will be in hogwarts again? or will dobby leave school to help harry?

I was reading somewhere last week that Wormtail's life debt will come into the final book. I reckon he's gonna get it in the last chapter!!
