Pardon me but I thought... 1997 was Harry's 7th year? Which means erm... DD is not around anymore... that's the reason for being the dark times

Correct you are! But the mistake's been made before, it's no big deal. I can edit anything that's wrong in the scenario.

In regards to your character being what? 3? 4? Years old, I chose to ignore it. It happens a lot and it's an easy mistake to make: There's no reason why you should have to type out a whole new character detail sheet - it's just not fair.

But now you know for the future :-)

Not liking the assumption being made in the scenario that Dumbledore always comes and tells muggle-borns that they're magical.
He was a busy man and all...

Nice touch with the parseltongue by the way, although unless the girl turns out to be a powerful dark wizard would seem to be very unlikely. Parseltongues are very rare, so having two born (Harry, + character) within ten years is pretty interesting. If it's not overdone it could work well.
