This is the discussion place for the 'yet to be named' sequel to the RPG Scenario Hogwarts '06/7.

To start, I'll paste my brief idea from the other discussion topic:

"I think it should be about the effect on Hogwarts of Dinas' term in office, which will create a number of different plot ideas that are very Umbridge-esque in nature. But however bad Umbirdge was, Dinas is evil, and the main theme of it will be the way that evil will start creeping back into society as the prejudices of the public are once again exposed.

On reflection, I think our characters should (give or take one or two perhaps) be Hogwarts staff. I think it's an area that we could explore more, eg. that Hogwarts teachers have families too, and aren't always in the castle."

What do we all think?

Dinas introduces policies that he read long ago from a book that was in the Chamber of Secrets which was probably written by Salazar Slytherin. The book will remain shrouded in mystery, but it basically sets out all the regulations that Slytherin wanted to see made official.

Whilst thinking about this, I came up with a title.

Law of the Serpent. Comments?

*shiver* All the laws that Salazar wanted to be official? Rowena's in trouble, huh. A Muggle-born teacher under the Law of the Serpent...that's going to be interesting.

Oh, I love the title by the way! It's one of the few things I can never come with for my own stories/random scribbles.

I never have trouble with titles. For me it's patience. But the title it had thought of for this was "The Return". But that doesn't really make sense now, does it?
Let's go with PITA's.
We could also have a desendant of Gryffindor fighting against him in secret.

I don't have much of an issue with titles, plotting or writing. Motivation though...

I'm not too sure about having an heir of Gryffindor star here, because I like that Hogwarts: A History concept in general from Riley, so I think that we're very shortly going to have done the whole "Founders" topic to death.

But yeah... if everybody is agreed on the title and the general idea of the thing, I'll write it up.

And Q.A, why don't you accept/decline this scenario, and then if accepted open the thread? Add a bit of variation to the place.. I've opened them all in the main section for a while.

Oh and one more thing, I've figured it's pretty unlikely that Rowena would get a teaching job the very next school year after finishing, so I've set the school year at Sept 1. 2014 to 2015, which gives Rowena one school years break after she finished in June 2013. But obviously many students would still recognise her.

Fabulous, the topic's up and that's all fine. Just one tiny snag- I've tried to create Rowena with an updated profile, but I can't as she *obviously* has the same name as before. I'm might change her name a little just to get around it, so's you all know.

Probably not- we're now 17ish years since the Second War, I think she'd be retired.

I actually thought that that may happen, it's happened before I think. It was got around last time by the addition of a middle name...

Haha Godric, it says Lily was born in 1985. That would have made her at least 21 during the events of Hogwarts '06/7. Oh well.

I'll make my character the Charms teacher again, the position seems to be vacant. Excuse the double posting.

I made another mistake in my profile. I forgot to put my husband as one of my best friends! His name is Tom Filmont. We got married last year, honeymooned in Scotland, and have a small flat in London. He works for the Muggle Worthy Excuse Office and loves choclate pudding and quiditch. He's a chaser. Yay! I just made everything but the name up now.
