Actually, I've just had a look at the end of the 3rd book... it basically says that the reason DD knows about the name Prongs is because Sirus told him about how they became Anamagi... so Sirus fessed it up, it's got nothing to do with the map...

Bummer that or wot???

Yeah that's right, but what if DD has the map, and since now he knows the nicknames he will be able to ask Sirius about it (that's in case DD has it)

I'm not really sure why, or who I think supposingly has the map now, but I think that Harry will get it back.

It sounds verly likely, because it has shown to play an important role in the books, and since what we read is what happens to Harry, the map in his hands is more helpful for Jo to develop the story.

but wouldn't it be funny if Snape ended up with it... *not that I think it will happen!* But if he figured ot how to sue it this time, or found it unwiped...

he'd be constanty walking around with hisoverly large nose stuck in it, following the little Harry Potter dot around!!! heheheeh! :lol:

I have never acutally read any of them!

I dont' exactly know why, but I jsut get this feeling that I dont' want to wreck, if that's the word, the HP experience!!!

I dont' know if that really makes sense, or accurately describes how I think of it, but it will do I suppse!! :grin:

Your point is really clear, I feel exactly the same way.

I read one, a long time ago, but I didn't knew it was a fan fic, it said it was a chaprter of next book, but then I realised it wasn't Jo writing.

So back to the Marauders Map.. I had a look at the end of the 4th book, and when DD opened oe of the locks, he found some prachment and quills... Maybe one of the pieces of parchment was the map???

And I dont' really understnad how DD woudl get it to give back to Harry unless Moody finds it and gives it to him... because if it was there in Moody's trunk, DD is not exactly the type of person who would justpick it up and take it, is he?

So, I am now thinking that Moody gets it... wonder what he uses it for though... or if he gives it to Harry...

Or maybe it just dissapears... you know, not menioned again... but then it seems a bit too cool for it to not be spoken about again...
