Damien cracked a smile. "Oh, you think you'll restrain me?" He threw Nikolaus's wand back to it's owner. "I don't care if this is UK soil, US soil, or even Iraqi soil, this is something I'm handling. Now, if you'll excuse me," He landed a punch on Nikolaus. "He has been punished. I don't believe you are needed anymore. I have handled the situation."

Nikolaus stood up, wiping away the blood from his corner of his mouth. His burst lip swelling slightly from Damien's punch. His wand laid wasted among the broken desk.
"Oh... so you think you can punish me? What are you?" he taunted, "if I'm not mistaken, an auror has no rights to use violence against an innocent."

"Shut uuuuuup," Damien said out of the corner of his mouth. Although he didn't approve of Nikolaus's actions, he didn't want Nikolaus in jail. He could tell that Gwydion was out to cause trouble.

Gwydion stepped swiftly forward, moving in between the two arguing wizards and facing the Japanese Auror coolly.

"He's quite right," he said quietly with a nod to the beaten guy- Nikolaus, if he remembered correctly. "We don't use violence unless specifically authorised. So stand down, Nomare, unless you want to pick a fight with me. Which would not be a good idea."

Damien laughed. "Like you'd care. I can tell. And I am not bound by your ministry. And I've taken down scumbags much tougher than you." But then he stepped down, realizing that he could not compromise his position at Hogwarts. The words that came out of his mouth tasted like acid. "I'm sorry for my unruly behaviour. I was caught in the moment. Please, forgive me." He hated doing this, giving in because of something he needed. If he had it his way, Gwydion would be on his back spurting up blood.

It took a great deal of self-control for Gwydion not to smirk at the wizard's discomfort, but he managed it. He met Damien's gaze and nodded slowly, accepting his words for the moment. Then, he turned to Nikolaus and spoke in a tone that brooked no arguement.

"Right, one situation sorted and one other left. As I don't think you'll be pressing charges, would you come with me please? I'd like a word."

"I shall be joining you," Damien said firmly. "It is my responsibility to know what goes on at this school."

[Q.Araignee]

"For the moment, I think you need to cool off. I'll be talking to him in private until I determine that you're fit to carry on with your duties."

It was here that Gwydion turned to face Damien once more, using his height advantage to look down on the Japanese Auror ever so slightly as he spoke still calmly.

"Unless you'd rather I ask my boss to arrange for your immediate deportation from this country. I'm sure Harry will be more than happy to oblige given that he was the one who sent me here."

The appearance of yet, another auror, was obviously not to his liking. Now, with two aurors who would be hounding on him in the future, things could get a little harder for him. He could see the displeased look on Galena's face, she was clearly baffled by their arguments. Valencia's disappointed look was upsetting him as well. Geneve, on the other hand, was as white as a sheet. She was discernibly terrified by the turn of event. She knew that the prior incident was due to her accidental power but Nikolaus took the blame entirely to himself. He avoided looking at her. This was not a good time to associate her with him in any fashion possible.

Damien didn't care about height. This man was challenging him. He had even backed down before, but forget it this time. This time, it was personal. The man was provoking him. "You're not the one to determine that. And if you think you're going to tell me what to do, you've got another thing coming. And Potter isn't going to deport me, I can tell you that right now. I have the responsibility to watch over Hogwarts, and no scumbucket lowlife like you or that man is going to stop me."

"In the same way, I believe I'm not under your jurisdiction," Nikolaus challenged, "I have the freedom to choose who to explain my actions to. I'm in no way affiliated to you and your Ministry." He directed his gaze at Damien.

"And Mr. MacCallum, is there any way for you to stop that man from harassing me?"

"Damien, if you wish to continue teaching at my school, you'll have to control yourself! I will not have you fighting with other teachers!" Galena shouted. She was fed up with both Damien and Nikolaus. They were acting like the Gryffindors and Slytherins with their petty fighting. "And, since it is your duty to protect Hogwarts, Damien, you'll have an awfully hard time doing that if you're not at the school! So I suggest you stop this fighting now."

Galena then turned to Nikolaus, "And you," she glared sternly at the man, "I am well aware that Damien was provoking you, but I would have to ask you not to rise to his level while at the school, especially in front of children," she gestured to Geneve, "If you cannot, I'm afraid I will have to ask you to leave."

Damien lowered his head. "Ms. Sprague. I'm sorry for this trouble. But whatever that Gwydion says to Nikolaus, I must also hear, otherwise I cannot garantee the saftey of your school. But, should you wish me to, I will return to my class and prepare for next period."

"You may stay, as long as you refrain from dueling, both wizard and Muggle," Galena said sternly. "Now will somebody please explain to me what's going on in my own school?"

"Nikolaus, ma'am, has been performing dark magic," Damien said, raising his head. "That is why I must hear what Gwydion says to Nikolaus. And that is why I got physical with the man. Dark magic should never be used in front of children. And creating a dragon should never be done period."
