oooo I was thinking the ring was actually made by the goblins hence they are so anxiously in recovering it
but if you have the idea of being the descendant of the ring maker, that'll do, as long as you can figure it the power of the ring. (too bad it cannot be 1 of the deathly hallows - the resurrection stone, since the ring was in the Slytherin ancestry line)
and that the power is what the goblins are craving for (eg, they could use to it to change something?)

but how to tie it up with Nikolaus being responsible for the loss of the ring for that nice idea of goblin curse to work

Ideas I can think of at the moment (seeing how dead my brain are now)
1. Have Sabian steal the ring right under the goblins' watch and somehow activate the power of the ring, temporarily allowing Sabian to escape. And he will seek the help of Damien, Head of Slytherin. The goblins can stay as long as the construction is not complete, but I wrote previously that they will only require 1 more week (seeing how fast n efficient goblins are). Feganor, the goblin, in desperation, forces Nikolaus to take the ring back (citing the contract). Somehow Nikolaus refuses, and he activates the goblin curse, which affects Nikolaus (by causing a series of unfortunate events to befall) and in order to free himself of the curse, he will attempt to take the ring forcefully
But that will only make my character having a lot of subplots. Nikolaus will be a very busy man

2. Someone find the goblin highly suspicious and follows him which leads the character to find Sabian. Maybe Geneve can be the one who discovers Feganor acting suspiciously since she was the other character whom Feganor had approached before. She then seeks for help, either from Damien or Nikolaus. Together, they successfully rescue Sabian (and maybe during the course, Sabian activates the ring). Furiously with the loss of the ring, Feganor activates the goblin curse which affects Nikolaus?
At least there will be more characters involved in this type of scenario

3. Anymore idea?

I don't know, until Wanderful replies again to the RPG, I'm unsure if we should continue that plot, and maybe we should just pretend that Sabian never existed. Hmmm.

I just realized something. It appears to me that not only is Damien's perception of Nikolaus crowded, but Nikolaus's perception of Damien clouded. From what I see, he appears to think that Damien is just another ministry crony.

I think Nikolaus see Damien as someone who will obstruct him, esp since Nikolaus's association with dark arts seems to irk him?
And after that punch and the throwing around, Nikolaus won't be that friendly towards Damien.

Yep, yep. And I'm happy to say that he'll do it again, though I don't know why I'm happy to say so . Hmmm, maybe it's just because I like fight scenes in books. Hmmm, or maybe it's because I'm not allowed to fight in real life, so I take it out on the RPG characters. That might be true, or it might not, I'm not sure. All I know is that Damien is definitely going to get violent with Nikolaus again before the RPG is over.

oh yeah I was reading the Six Wizards part and a thought struck me
There are 5 criminals who is coming after Damien and the one who will showndown with Damien is Chi Inu (right?)
as for the rest, we can make it like a one to one showdown

Yuta Tanuki (female:raccoon) vs Galena/Valencia?
Ushioni Buta (male:pig) vs Nikolaus?
Ouki Kaba (female:snake) vs Geneve/Liam?

Will Gwydion help out??? Seeing that he has a ulterior motive

Just that we will be playing more than 1 character in this RPG? But I guess it is ok? Since Q.A will be playing Neko over at the Six Wizards, she can handle her character beter

That's a cool idea, choki. I like the idea of Galena facing off with Neko, because Galena's an animagus and turns into a dog. So that would be a whole dog vs. cat thing, which would be cool.

Well, a 7 feet tall big size Buta who is full of strength vs a 6 feet thin built Nikolaus...
looks like Damien has no worries about more violence to Nikolaus, Buta can do that on his behalf

Kaba:snake is played by riley

So either you all can choose to fight against your own character from NG2 n Six Wizards or you prefer to swap
i.e Tanuki (played by fawkes) vs Geneve/Liam
Kaba(played by riley) vs Valencia

A female hippo then! Woah... that sounds like someone even bigger size than Buta

I chose Hippo, because those are actually much more deadly than almost every thing on the African Safari. Getting in the water with an angry hippo is a deathwish.
