New Prefects

I agree, maybe Jo will use the prefect stuff to show us more about other characters.

Yeah, it would be alot more interesting that way, instead of just lumping all the known students in as prefects!

I sitll think that Hermpoine will definately be one though! And thought I really don't want Harry to become a Prefect, just because he does everything, I think that he will. I know he breaks the rules alot and all, but his father did too, and he was Head Boy from recollection!

I wonder what would happen in Hermoine and Harry became prefects, but Ron didn't? maybe he would become bitter again, and that might lead him to worse things! Remember, I still think that it's possible that Ron might go bad for a little while! Not very bad, just a little! You know, like out of resentment, and then realise what he's done and become all remorseful and stuff!

I don't like that theory, and I don't see Harry as a prefect, I mean he has gone to the forest by himself.
think that Dean or Seamus might be the other prefect of Gryffindor (well of course there is the case that each house has two)

Hey, I wonder if Sirus was a prefect? We really haven't been told either way, have we? Or Lupin for that matter, but I think that it the year of being there he would have told Harry... Sirus does seem to have that leadership thing going for him...

Well yeah, but we know DD didn't know all the things Harry, sirius, Remus,and Peter did. And it seems he knows every step of Harry.

That is strnage, isnt' it... We've always been lead to believe that DD knows everything that goes on at Hogwarts, so why didnt' he know about the Marauders adventures???

Or maybe he's just keeping more of a lookout on Harry since he knows the danger that Harry is in...>?

That seems possibe, Harry is always in great danger, so DD has to be more careful about him. I'm not sure DD knows everything the Weasleys twins do.

Point~! I would say that I'm sure he could if he wanted to, but what's the point? Not in a nasty way, but they really aren't causeing any serious harm after all! Just being funny!

Exactly, they make jokes, go to the kitches, etc; I mean what can happen to them, they aren't going to harm someone seriously

erm...the twins still have another year at shool i beleive.....i was under the impression they still have at least one year left...they are 2 years ahead of harry arent they and harry will be in 5th year so they will be in 7th... they were 16 in book 4 which suggest they were in 6th year

no..harry gave them the money cos they needed it and he couldnt get rid of it any other way....they are planning early....but percy was planning his future by the the summer hols before his last year too....

it must be something the weasley parents encourage them to do maybe....

It seems so, also they have one year to develop things that aren't that dangerous (I mean they aren't going to be able to see things that doens't pass a quality checking (I assume there is one in the wizard world))
