And about Snape the reason seems important, since Harry asksDD, and DD decides not to tell Harry.

If Draco does change sides, I don't think that it will be in OOTP... maybe the last book, so we will have the chance to get hints from books 5 & 6...>?

I think it's very unlikely for Draco and Snape to have the same story...I think JKR is more imaginative than that.
Btw, the thing Neo mentioned about DD not telling the reason for Snape's choice to change sides seems kinda interesting to me...if it was only a matter of concience, there wouldn't have been a reason to hold the info back. After all, DD told Harry a lot that would have belonged to Snape's private sphere in book 1.

About Draco, I think I read somewhere that JKR has confirmed that Harry and Draco won't fight side by side against Voldemort...whatever that means.

I really don't think that Voldie canpass it on, so to speak. I just wrote it down because it popped into my head, and I suppose was a theory! *if a crappy one!!*

That's what I meant too...if the assuption most people have that the reason for Snape to join the DE was his family background is right, he and Draco would already have much in common...and if Draco turned sides...no way, that would definately be a too similar story.
I've heard the theory that maybe Snape will use his experience to prevent Draco from joining the dark side, but I think that would be kinda...well, romantisized. I mean...Draco becoming good with the fatherly help of Snape? nah...
