Otherwise someone like Madam Maxine would trans herself permanently wouldnt' she, since she seemes quite embarased by the whole half-giant thing?
maybe is he was to transfigure herself to a cat *just as an exapmle* she would be a larger than average cat...

Yeah, if there is a potion to change into another person, it seems you can't transfigurate into another human being.

there are such potions,there are meny tipes of potions,you can do almost anything with potions.

I htink that there would be pations to do things that you can do with magic in another way! So say just incase you couldnt' perform that kind of advanced trsafig, you could just whip up the potion!!!

Not really,take a thawing potion for example,you'r about to freeze but if you drink it you'l return back to normal.I wonder if there's any spell like that?
