Here is is my newest fanfic! Once again i dont own Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling does. Not me. Thank you! This is only the first chapter.. ch. 2 to come soon! Now enjoy......
Truth or Dare

It was the Christmas holidays at Hogwarts. Harry, Ron , and Hermione had chosen to stay at Hogwarts to celebrate. Unfortunately, so did Draco Mafloy. They wanted to make sure that they stayed as far way from Malfoy as possible because he was still gloating at how he had gotten Harry, Ron, and Hermione landed with detention just a few weeks ago. What happened was that, it all started in Potions class. Everyone was excited because the holidays were just a few days way and could hardly keep their mind on their work. This annoyed some teachers, especially Professor Snape. It started out with the usual, Snape picking on Neville, Snape giving Harry that same loathing stare that was so unbelievably filled with hatred it was almost unbearable. Unless you were used to it. Like Harry was. "I cant believe I cant get out of taking Double Potions." Harry sighed. I know spat Ron. "This is torture!" "On Ron!" Hermione cut in. "I don’t like Snape either, but its better if we just grit our teeth try and get through it." Malfoy was at his desk with his caldron and Crabbe and Goyle at both of his sides. Draco was like the teachers pet. His desk was the closest to the teachers'.
Snape announced that they were starting a new potion. He was finally going to teach them how to make Viratuserum. The Truth Potion. "I want you all to pay attention!" Snape snapped. "This is a delicate procedure, NOW! Copy down these notes carefully and mix the ingredients!" Tell me when you are done, so we can….test it." He finished his sentence by glaring over in Neville's direction." As they were mixing their potions Ron got out some candy that he had saved from their last trip to Hogsmead out of his pocket. " "Here Harry, want some?" Ron asked. Holding the candy out to Harry. "Sure, just make sure we don’t get caught."
He reached over and started unwrapping the candy and putting the wrapper in his pocket. Ron got out a pumpkin pasty and poked Hermione in the ribs. "You want some? Me and Harry are going to split this one." "Not really, but I am hungry, I didn’t eat breakfast. Busy studying you know." "Yea we know, so you want some?" Ron asked impatiently looking up at Snape. "Sure." Hermione whispered. She looked up at Snape herself and saw he was getting up. "Ron, look out!" Harry's eyes widened. "Quick Ron! Hide the pasty!" Ron shoved the pasty in his pocket. Snape to their great relief, swept past them to the back of the dungeon. "Whew! That was close!" Ron said. They went on pretending to mix potions while Snape was up just in case he was secretly watching them. He forgot about the pasty for a moment.
Draco Malfoy had been watching them the whole time and a smile spread over his face. He had finished with his Truth Potion and got down on his hands and knees under the table and was sneaking up behind Ron. He carefully put his hand into Ron's pocket and pulled out the pumpkin pasty. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were to preoccupied at the moment to notice, they were trying to look like they were working. Draco slithered back to his desk and took out a little eye dropper device, got some of the potion in it and dropped four drops onto the pasty. Crabbe and Goyle sniggered as they finally figured out what was going on. After administering the potion he slipped back under the desks and carefully dropped the pasty back into Ron's pocket and went back to his seat.
After Snape swept silently back to his desk, Harry, Ron and Hermione sighed. "I'm glad he went back to his desk, he gives me the creeps." Harry said. "Blimey that was close!" Ron stated. "Shh! Ron! We don’t want to be heard by Snape." Hermione hissed. Just then Ron's stomach growled. "Oh! That reminds me! The pumpkin pasty is still in my pocket." Ron reached into this pocket and grabbed the pasty. "Here, I will split this as evenly as I can for the three of us." Ron tore the pasty into three somewhat a little uneven pieces. "Give me the smallest piece." Hermione said to Ron. "Give me the next to smallest piece." Harry added. "Okay, the biggest piece for me." Ron smiled. Ron distributed the pieces to Harry and Hermione.
They took the pieces and started to nibble slowly on it so as not to looks suspicious if Snape looked up. Malfoy looked on and was trying to keep from laughing as he watched them munch on the pasty. Harry, Ron and Hermione finished their pasty pieces. "Hey, what is making Malfoy so happy?" Harry asked as he looked over and saw Malfoy looking maliciously over at them. Malfoy then got up and walked over to Snape's desk. "What is he doing?" Hermione asked while she watched Malfoy swagger over to the desk. "Who cares what that little git is up to." Said Ron. They saw Malfoy talking to Snape who threw a glance at them with his black eyes glittering evilly. Snape got up and started walking up towards their desk.
Harry, Ron and Hermione looked on in horror as Snape advanced. Malfoy spoke up. "Professor Snape, I just over heard my fellow students talking about what they think of you and the way you teach. Go ahead, don’t be shy. Potter, Weasley, Granger. Tell Professor Snape how you feel." A smile appeared on his face and Snape just looked on with interest. Harry was about to reply with a lie but this weird tingling sensation swept over him. He looked over at Ron and Hermione. They also had the same puzzled expression on their faces that he was sure he wore too. "Go on Mr. Potter, and company, tell me. What do you think of me?" Snape asked silkily. Harry tried to keep his mouth shut but it didn’t work.
Before he knew it, he was talking words he did mean to. "I think you need to wash your hair." "Yea, you greasy git." Ron chimed in. "You need to be fairer in the way you teach you unfair slime ball!" Hermione added. Harry wondered what the heck was happening. Ron and Hermione seemed to be feeling the same way. Snape looked furious! "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!" Snape roared. Obviously Malfoy hadn't administered enough Truth Potion to make it last very long because the effects started wearing off and Harry, Ron and Hermione were just becoming clear of what just happened. "DETENTION! ALL THREE OF YOU! AND 50 POINTS FROM GRYFFINDOR FOR TALKING TO A TEACHER LIKE THAT!" "Pr-professor, we didn’t mean to.. We don’t know how.." Harry began but Snape wasn't listening. Snape, red in the face turned back to his desk to write up the papers while Malfoy looked on at them.
"Haha! Looks like you guys should have lied. Harry, Ron and Hermione looked on in disgust. "What did you do Malfoy?!" Harry asked through gritted teeth. "Yea, we know you had to have been involved in this!" Ron sputtered furiously. The whole class was looking on in shock. Especially the Gryffindors. "I just had to put a little Viratiserum on your pasty that you so conveniently put in your pocket where is was easily accessible Weasley." Ron's eyes widened. "You snuck that pasty out of my pocket and soaked it with Truth Potion!" Ron spat, his ears turning red. "How dare you!" Hermione shrieked. Snape came walking back with the detention papers and handed one to Harry, Ron and Hermione. "Here! You are too be in these places for your detentions!" This ought to teach you to hold your tongues!"
That’s how Malfoy had gotten them detention. And that was the last straw They had to clean the Great Hall floor and all the trophies in the trophy room plus, help Madame Pince clean up the whole library. They were so sick of Malfoy, they had to get him back. A few days before Christmas break, Harry, Ron and Hermione overheard Malfoy at the Slytherin table that he was going to sneak in and use the Prefects bathroom. This was against the rules for any student who wasn’t a Prefect. Malfoy was feeling pretty high of himself because he got Harry, Ron and Hermione detention but he always felt that way about himself anyway. "Did you hear him?! He says he's gonna use the Prefects bathroom tonight so he wont get caught!" Ron whispered loudly after dinner that night as they were walking back to the Gryffindor Common Room.
"We need to report him! I heard him saying he's going down after lights out! Which is 12:30 so he will be in that bathroom at 2:00! We need to tell a teacher!" Hermione said as they sat down in the common room. Harry just sat there, he hadn't said a word since they had gotten up from the dinner table. "Harry, what's up? You are so quite." Ron asked. Harry sat there for a moment then smiled. "I've got the perfect idea on how we can get Malfoy back for what he has done to us. It’s the perfect plan." "Tell us! Tell us!" Ron urged. "I will after everyone goes to bed." Harry answered. After everyone started to drift out of the common room and off to bed, Harry called Ron and Hermione over in a huddle. "We are going to get in trouble for this aren't we?" Hermione asked. "Not if we are careful and use the Invisibility Cloak." Harry said with a smile on his face and a definite sparkle in his eyes. He quietly began to tell him his plan.
When it was 1:30 Harry slipped up to his bed and grabbed his Invisibility Cloak and crept back downstairs. "Ready?" Harry asked. "Ready" Said Hermione who looked a little uncertain. "Lets get that slimy git back for all he has done!" Ron answered back. They threw the Cloak over them and climbed out of the portrait hole and off down the corridor towards the Prefect's bathroom. They kept absolutely quiet because they had already been talking and was almost caught by Filch. As they neared the portrait where the Prefects bathroom behind it, they saw Mafloy creep around a corner. "Shh!" There he is! We have got to follow him!" Harry said. "Wait!" Hermione said. "That’s the boy Prefect bathroom! I cant go in there!"
"Oh come on Hermione! You want to stop Malfoy and get him in trouble don’t you?" Ron whispered. "Yes, but what if we do get caught? I will be in even more trouble since that’s the boys!" Hermione was arguing. "Shh! He is going into the portrait hole. Fine Hermione, you can stay out here and stand watch." Harry hissed back at both of them. They watched as Malfoy whispered the password and as he opened the portrait hole Harry, Ron and Hermione snuck up behind him and climbed up into the hole with him. Hermione was really hesitant, she finally decided to come with them. ("We had to go into the girls bathroom in out 2nd year to make the Polyjuice Potion!" Harry and Ron pointed out) Hermione had silently agreed. They watched Malfoy turn the knobs to run the water.
"He is getting undressed! Ew! Everyone cover your eyes unless you want them burned out of their sockets." Ron whispered. They covered their eyes and only knew it was safe to open them when they had heard the gentle 'sploosh' of Mafloy getting into the tub. Harry, Ron and Hermione looked on the floor next to the tub and say Mafloy's clothes. "I will sneak over there and grab his clothes and hide them under the Cloak." Harry said. It would be easier for Harry to so it by himself because he would have room to move around a lot more freely and quietly. So Ron and Hermione hid in a bathroom stall and Harry pulled the Cloak tight around him and walked over to the clothes and picked them up while Malfoy was looking the other way. Harry sneaked back to the bathroom stall and Ron and Hermione got back under the cloak. They stared to walk back through the portrait hole when Ron stopped. "I have an idea! Lets not leave anything for him to cover up with. Lets not leave his towel."
Hermione just stared at him then added. "Ron, maybe its just me but I don’t want to see Malfoy streaking naked through the hallways and corridors!" "Shh! Ron I hate to say this but I think I agree with Hermione on this one" Harry stated. "Aww man!" "Oh well, we better go, we don’t want to get caught." They headed for the portrait hole again just leaving Malfoy with a small drying towel. While Malfoy was under the water rinsing off his hair they snuck out of the portrait hole. They ran as fast as they could to the nearest laundry drop off. It would look less suspicious if they were found in the laundry instead of a broom closet or something.
Then they snuck back to the corridor and waited for Malfoy to come out. All of a sudden they heard a slight shocked scream. It was Malfoy, he had just discovered his clothes were missing. "Hehehe I cant wait to see the look on his face when he comes out of that portrait hole!" Ron whispered. Harry was trying hard not to laugh real loud in case they were heard. Hermione had her hand ready to cover his eyes. Just in case Malfoy didn’t see the small drying towel they left him. All of them watched as the portrait hole burst open, and there stood Draco Malfoy looking pale and dripping wet with a small white towel wrapped around his lower part of his body. The towel barely came to the tops of his knees.
Harry, Ron and Hermione were over come with a fit of laughter! They could barely contain themselves! Harry slapped his hand to his mouth and was trying to muffle his laughter. Ron was trying to do the same thing and his face was turning almost as red as his hair. Hermione couldn’t help but break into giggles! It was a hilarious site! Malfoy with his face white with horror and shock that was almost as white as his towel, sprinted off down the corridor headed for the Slytherin Common Room.
Harry Ron and Hermione quietly ran behind him sniggering the whole way. Harry fought hard against his laughs. "This is one of the best ideas we have ever had for revenge on Malfoy!" Ron spluttered spit and he tried to talk and laugh at the same time. "I know! Great idea Harry!" Hermione could barely contain herself. At times they almost lost Malfoy around a corner because the had to stop and hurry up Hermione, who was so overcome with giggles she couldn’t run! "Look! He's heading for the dungeons! Toward his Common Room.!" Harry half-shouted laughing hysterically.
Right when Malfoy was rounding a corner, just a few steps away from his Common Room, Professor McGonagall rounded the corner and ran right into him knocking him to the floor! "Mr. Malfoy! Just what in the name of Merlin's beard do you think you are doing?!" McGonagall was looking at him, to the towel to his dripping wet body to his white with horror face. Harry, Ron and Hermione were laughing so hard they had stitches in their sides and their ribs hurt. But they had to be sure to keep quite, they didn’t want Professor McGonagall catching them out of bed, with Malfoy's clothes.
"Running through the hallways naked! What ever possessed you into doing such a thing?!" Malfoy could barely even speak. When he found his voice he stared yelling, "IT WAS POTTER'S FAULT! I KNOW IT WAS! IT HAD TO BE!" "What are you rambling on about? Trying to put the blame on everyone but yourself! Where you using the prefects bathroom? You had to be! NO other bathroom in the school has a tub with such fragrances!" McGonagall said sniffing the air and smelling the bubbles that fill the tub on Malfoy. "We will have a talk with Professor Snape, we will! See how he is going to react when he founds out one of his students………!" She broke off, obviously too angry to say more.
"We better get back to the Common Room then." Harry said. "If I know Snape, he will believe Malfoy that it was me. We all better be in that Common Room if they decide to check." Ron and Hermione agreed and with a triumphant look on all their faces as they watched Professor McGonagall lead Malfoy to the dungeons by his ear. On the way to the Common Room they stopped and threw Malfoy's robes into the dirty laundry bin. "I cant wait until I hear the verdict on this case!" Ron said. "I know I cant believe we got away with it! And we didn’t get caught!" "Come on Hermione! We should be experts at this creeping around the school and causing mischief thing by now haven't we?" Harry said smiling as Hermione frowned at him in response.
The next day they had heard something that made them so mad. It turned out that Malfoy being the teachers pet and all, he had got off easy! "This is stupid! We try and get Malfoy in trouble and he don’t even get in trouble they way he should! What he did was at least 2 weeks worth of detention!" Ron complained as they were walking down to the lake even though it was biting cold outside. "I know, Harry answered back, "but Malfoy is in Snape's house and you know Snape favors his students, especially towards Malfoy! I bet Malfoy told Snape that I had something to do with it, even though he has no proof! " "And Snape believes him too I bet!" Hermione spat. Harry and Ron stared at her, she normally didn’t shout out like that.
As they neared the lake they saw Draco Malfoy standing by the lake. He was looking into the cold steely colored surface with a furrowed brow at through concentrating. As they got closer they realized that is was an expression of anger and sourness. They walked up to him and he turned around. "Oh its you! I know you had something to do with what happened last night?! The whole school can talk of nothing else!" Mafloy spat at them before they had the chance to speak. "W-what do you mean?" Harry said trying to sound innocent. "Oh you mean that whole streaking thing? Me? Us? Something to do with it? Of course not!" "Don’t lie to me Potter! I know it was you, Weasley and Mudblood Granger!" "Now see here Malfoy!" Ron yelled. Hermione just looked away with a hurt look on her face.
"I know very well that you were behind all this Potter! I just know it!" Malfoy shot back. He looked furious also embarrassed because his cheeks were turning pink. "Look Malfoy you cant prove it was us!" Harry began. "Yea, I mean you are totally being unfair!" Hermione stated. "Ya think Hermione! This is Draco Malfoy we are talking about here!" Ron said. Draco just stared and was obviously not pleased at the so-called compliments he was getting. Just then Draco got an idea. "Hey! I know how you guys can pay me back for what you did!" "What makes you think we did it?" Harry kept saying. "Look I know it was you!" Malfoy said nastily. "No use in trying to deny it any longer!"
"Whatever…" Harry sighed. "Look I hate losing out on something Potter. I know how we can even all this out." Harry looked on as Malfoy's mouth twisted into a cold smirk. "All right what is your 'idea' Malfoy?" Harry began. Ron and Hermione just stared. "We can play a game of truth or dare. Loser has to take all the blame for this unfortunate mishap." "That was your unfortunate mishap Malfoy!" Ron shouted. "Oh come of it Weasley!" Malfoy spat back. Hermione stepped up next to Harry. "Should we trust him?" "I don’t know….." Harry said. "Look Potter! it’s a fun and daring way to settle this….you are a Gryffindor aren't you? Daring should be your middle name." He gave a twisted smirk again. His eyes glinting evilly.
"All right Malfoy, if you don’t tell the teachers we are doing this and rat us out." Harry said. Hermione gasped Malfoy offered his hand again. But was relieved when Harry didn’t take it. "Don’t Worry Potter, believe it or not I want to be fair about this…. it’s just yet another challenge to show I am better than you! I wont back out!" "What's your idea Malfoy?" Harry stated. "It simple just a game of ----Truth or Dare!" Ron and Hermione looked surprised. "Oh I thought it would be something of a duel or something…" Hermione said. "Don’t give him ideas Hermione! Truth or Dare is better!"
Harry looked at the had Malfoy had reached out to him to shake. "I don’t think I make deals with Slytherins…. Plus I cant trust you Malfoy!" "Yea and I don’t know anyone who does!" "Fine then….I mean if you want to chicken out.." "I am not chicken Malfoy!" Harry yelled. He stretched out his hand and resentfully, shook it. Hermione gasped and Ron just stared in horror. "To make this deal work we all have to shake on this so we make it official." "Yea remember that Malfoy, that means you cant tell the teachers." Ron said. Hermione just looked at Malfoys outstretched hand as though it was diseased.
Ron looked at Malfoy. "Look I'm getting cold lets just get this over with." Ron stepped over and shook Malfoy's hand. He let go quickly. "There, its over with. Lets go." Hermoine walked over after Ron and shook his hand. Malfoy didn’t look happy about this either. "Great." He said sarcastically. "I've got to disinfect my hands they have been soiled by Mudlblood hands." Harry had to hold Ron back. Ron was read in the face no only from the cold but from Malfoy insulting Hermione. "Lets go then." Harry said. "Sensing danger and that they better go. They turned there heels on Malfoy and started towards the castle. "Oy Potter!" They turned around. Malfoy was sneering. The game takes place next weekend in the astronomy tower at midnight! Don’t chicken out now Potter! Wealsey! Granger! Unless you think you take it!" "Oh we can Malfoy! We will be there, count on it!" Harry yelled back.

Here it is! The newest chapter in the Truth or Dare series! Enjoy!
Chapter 2
Harry, Ron and Hermione were wondering what the next weekend would be like. But Harry had other things on his mind at the moment. He was eager and determined to talk to Cho Chang. The girl Harry most admired. Ron couldn't believe he could be this crazy over a girl! Hermione, since she was a girl, was telling Harry different ways girls like to be treated and respected and what to expect as an answer if he ever really talked to her. "I'm gonna do it today." Harry said. As the trio was walking down the corridor to their next to last class of the day, Potions. "Harry I don't see what your problem is---just go up to her and say hi!" Ron was looking at Harry with a 'Come off it!' kind of look. "Its not as easy as you think Ron!" Harry said sensing his cheeks turning red "Ron have a little understanding----haven't you ever been that way over a girl?" Ron hesitated for a moment before he answered defiantly, "No!"
As they entered the Potions class they say Draco Malfoy stare at them from the front of the dungeon. He looked anxious for the Truth or Dare to come about. "Look at the way he looks at us, its just creepy sometimes!" Hermione stated. Ron sat down beside Harry and they were sitting behind Hermione who was with Neville to help him. "Listen up!" Snape yelled over the dungeon echoing off the walls. "You will make today the Potion used to counter the Forgetfulness Potion! It is called the Remembrance Potion! It can be very difficult! So pay attention and get your ingredients together and get to work! All of you!" While cutting up and preparing their ingredients, Ron looked over at Harry and smiled. "You know Harry, if you really cant talk to Cho all you have to do is make a Love Potion and slip it in her drink at breakfast!" "I wouldn't do that!" Harry said smiling. Although the thought was a little bit tempting.
Potions passed and it was a torturous as usual. Snape still had not become tired of his favorite hobby of bullying Neville around. He found out about Harry and Ron joking about making a Love Potion and almost gave them detention for threatening to slip it into anyone's drink. He didn't though, he let them off with a warning, a severe warning, but a warning none the less. And he got on to Hermione for trying to help Neville. Since Potions was the next to last class of the day, they has one more class left and that was Astronomy with Professor Sinistra.
As they were walking to the stairs to the Astronomy tower they were discussing different dares they could ask Malfoy, truths too and what to expect from him. "I don't know, do you think he might ask you to run down the hallways naked Harry?" Ron asked as the were halfway up the stairs to the tower. "I hope not!" Harry said is eyes wide. He could just imagine the look on McGonagall's face if she caught him doing that! On the other hand if Snape would have found him, well Harry didn't want to think about that. Hermione seemed to be in deep thought because she hadn't said a word since they had left the Common Room. "What's up Hermione?" Ron asked looking worried. "Well, just think about this, if we get caught it will be terrible!" "Harry has the Invisibility Cloak! He can use that!" "No he cant!" Hermione interrupted. "If Malfoy ever finds out about that cloak he will know how you snuck into Hogsmead in our 3rd year and well it would just prove a lot of things! Snape would make sure it was confiscated!"
"Your right Hermione" Harry said as the reached the door to the tower. "Where did he say that this Truth or Dare takes place again? In the Astronomy tower right?" "Right" Said Hermione as Harry pushed the door open. They sat down still talking and discussing things on the upcoming weekend. After class, everyone was thoroughly exhausted. Its was 2:00 if the morning and everyone started trooping down the stairs towards their common rooms. Harry, Ron and Hermione didn't talk much. They were to tired. The Truth or Dare thing was only a few days away. As they got to their dormitories and said good night as they parted on the stairs, they yawned the whole time, their eyes heavy with sleepiness.
The days passed and Malfoy, every time they saw him in the halls, he wore a look that made them wonder if he would keep his secret. It was only one day away from that night when the game would take place and they would see who wins this one. At lunch the day before, everyone was looking forward for the night to end to the could have that two day break from all the work. "I just find the weekend to be days were you can catch up on all the work." Hermione had said with a slight frown. She didn't approve of the way Harry and Ron lounged away the weekends in the common room or playing chess, and not studying. Harry and Ron weren't listening to her as they quietly ate, they were busy discussing what they been for the past few nights after the agreement for the game, how to outdo Malfoy and what tricks he might have up his sleeve.
"Do you think we should take our wands" Harry asked as picked up his sandwich. "I don't know, I think we should. I mean, knowing Malfoy he is probably planning something sinister and he's bringing his too." Ron answered. "Then its settled. We will sneak up to the tower----" "Without the Invisibility Cloak." Ron cut in with much dismay. "Yea, anyway---" Harry went on. "We put our plan into action, Hermione before we leave tonight we are going to have to tell you me and Ron's ideas for the Dares and Truths." "All right, but remember, I have a few ideas too, if you don't mind." Harry and Ron looked at each other, then back at Hermione. "Okay." They said. "Tell us your ideas tonight in the common room before we leave." Ron said. Harry looked at both of his eager friends. "Everything is settled then, right?" Ron and Hermione nodded. "Okay, we strike out at midnight."
That night, all the classes were over with, and everyone in the Common Room had drifted off to bed. (Harry and Ron prolonging their 'pretend' game of chess so no one would ask why they were staying up late. Hermione of course, was reading a heavy book and no one dared disturb her.) Harry checked his watch, nodded and said, "Its time." They had decided to take the Invisibility Cloak after all, to get past the portraits in the hallways and Filch, but was going to hide it in outside the door to the Astronomy Tower so Malfoy didn't spot it. As the threw the cloak over them the crept out of the portrait hole and stealthily tiptoed down the hallways and corridors.
They approached the stairs to the Astronomy Tower, they started wondering is Malfoy was there yet. As they got to the door Harry put his hand on the handle then turned around. "Here we go, there is no turning back." "Don't worry, were ready." Ron said smiling, although you could tell he was a little nervous. Hermione just nodded and smiled. Harry turned the handle and pushed the door open. They looked around. "Hey, I don't see him, maybe he isn't here yet!" Harry said. "Maybe he chickened out!" Ron said with a hint of relief in his voice. "Don't get your hopes up Weasley." Said a silky menacing voice. The trio whipped around. Draco Malfoy stepped out of the shadows and closed the door. "Your creepy." Ron said. Malfoy shot him a dirty look. "And your poor." He said smoothly. "Come on Malfoy! We came here to play a game of Truth or Dare! Not to insult each other!" Harry burst out at Malfoy. "Shhh! Harry! We can still be heard!" Hermione shrilled. "Fine! Harry said. Let the games begin!" They went out on the balcony and set in a circle under the stars. A light breeze was blowing. Since it was winter Hermione conjured up a little blue flame in an open jar for them to warm up to. They also had there cloaks bundled up around them. "Who goes first?" Harry asked. "I will give you permission to start off Potter." Malfoy said with a sneer. "Oh thanks Malfoy!"Ron said sarcastically. "Real sporting of you!" Hermione added with the same tone. "That's enough!" Malfoy yelled" On with the game!"
Harry started first. His pulse quickened, this had been the moment he and the others had been waiting for. He just hoped that all the dares he prepared had a nice effect on Malfoy. Harry stared at his two friends and they nodded for him to go ahead and dare Malfoy. "Okay, Malfoy! Truth of Dare?" Malfoy's lips curled into a sneer. "Dare!" Harry threw a quick glance at Ron and Hermione who looked a tad bit worried. "Alright, Malfoy, I dare you to......put on some of Hermione's dress robes and let us take a picture of it!." (they had decided to start out a bit mild and get worse as the game went on) Malfoy looked shocked. "A dress?! No wa---" "Chicken!" Ron and Harry yelled. Hermione wanted to keep her mouth shut. "You have to do it Malfoy! Its part of the Dare!" "Fine! I will do it! But wait! You dont have it with you! Haha!"
Hermione smiled and she pulled her dress robes from a little sack which she was carrying . "What!? You.....you...." "Yes we brought it Malfoy and there is another catch to this Dare. Harry said. "After we take a picture of you, we get to tack it up on the Great Hall billboard! For everyone too see!" Malfoy's eyes went wide. "You have got to be joking---" "No! Either do it or pay the consequences." Ron said gesturing towards the dress. "Fine! Can I put it over my clothes?" "Yes, but you have to take your robes off though." Hermione said. Malfoy scowled at them as he snatched the dress robes from Hermione's hand. They were her 'new' dress robes. Not the ones she wore to the Yule Ball last year. These were the color----
"PINK!" Screamed Malfoy. "I didn't see the color in the shadows, it was too dark!" "Oh well, go on now put them on." Ron said. Malfoy, his face white with shock went to a dark corner and pulled off his robes and slipped on the dress robes. Then he walked back out. The trio burst into laughter! "HAHAHAHAHA!" Harry laughed loudly. Hermione was red, and Ron was just so overcome he could hardly breathe. Malfoy's once white from shock face, was now red from embarrassment. Ron pulled out the wizard camera and tried to hold it still do he could take it but his hands were shaking from laughter. "I haven't laughed this hard since we pulled that trick on you a few weeks ago!" Malfoy shot him a piercing stare. Hermione grabbed the camera and held it up. "Go on now stand in the light of the moon so I can get a good shot." "And twirl some too so we can see the pretty dress flow!" Harry choked out. Ron started crying he was laughing so hard. "Oh!" He said. "That color, its soooo you!" He gave Malfoy a thumbs up.
Hermione (with much difficulty) steadied the camera and snapped it. "There! Your picture has been taken. Now all we have to do is to put it in the solution to make it move, which I brought with me." She smiled at Malfoy who was looking ready to kill. Although he didn't look to threatening in his pink dress. Hermione grabbed a bottle from her back pack and dropped a few onto the picture. (it was an instant camera) And put it aside out of the way. "Okay its my turn now!" Said Malfoy as he pulled off the dress robes and threw them over the edge of the tower and it fell towards the ground. Hermione gasped. "How dare you!" Malfoy ignored her and turned to Harry. "I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time." Harry was ready for anything. Malfoy's face split into a cruel smile.
"Truth or Dare Harry!" Malfoy spat. Harry looked at him and answered, "Truth." "Alright, who do you have a crush on?" Harry' face was getting red. He never really told anyone it was Cho Chang. He defiantly didn't want Malfoy to find out but he had to say it. "Its Cho Chang." He whispered. "I'm sorry," Malfoy smirked. "I didn't hear you." "ITS CHO CHANG!" Harry burst out leaving everyone with wide eyes. "Cho Chang? Really, I bet I know what you wanna do with her......You wanna get her all alone, then creep up to your dormitory with her, then get comfy on your four poster then---" "MALFOY STOP IT!" Hermione said. Harry was so red he was the color of Ron's hair. Malfoy shut up and then said, " Alright then, its your turn Granger." Hermione looked and decided to dare Ron. "Truth or Dare?" Ron thought for a moment and said Dare.
Ron, it turned out had to strut around and wear a prefect badge, for the rest of the game. Ron had winced as Hermione put it on him. Ron hated it. He didn't want to be like Percy. Hermione knew this. Then it was Ron's turn. He dared Hermione too........"I'm not gonna kiss Malfoy!!!!!!!!" She screamed. Malfoy went white. "You have to do it Hermione. Its your Dare." Ron smiled. He was getting back at her for the Prefect badge. That's how much he hated that. Hermione was ashen faced and red with anger. "FINE! Where to I have to kiss him. Don't say on the lips I beg of you!" Harry was fighting between laughter and the state of shock. "On the cheek will be fine." Ron said. Hermione got up and then sat beside Malfoy. He looked at her with utter disgust. "I don't want a Mudblood kissing me! That's filthy!" Malfoy shouted. "Oh well, your part of this Dare so you have to participate." Harry said. Hermione closed her eyes. So did Malfoy. She leaned in closer and closer until she touched his cheek. She gave a small peck on the cheek. After that she started hacking and coughing as though she has just swallowed a bug. Malfoy went over the edge of the tower and was yelling for some disinfectant. "Soap, soap! My kingdom for some soap!!!"
It had taken Hermione and Malfoy 20 minutes to calm down enough to resume play. When they were done Malfoy dared Ron. "I Dare you to kiss Hermione!" Ron went red. So did Hermione. Malfoy looked at them and smiled. "On the lips!" Both so red that they were as scarlet as the Gryffindor seal, they locked lips. They had held their kiss for 2 minutes. "I think you enjoyed that Ron!" Harry said patting Ron and the back and giving him a thumbs up." Ron and Hermione remained red. Looking at each other every now and then, as though they longed to do it again. Malfoy was disgusted and disappointed, he wanted them to hate it. The game passed on and on until it was just a few more hours until sunrise when the game would end. It was bitter cold outside and the little flame Hermione had conjured was growing dim and colder.
Then at last it was time for the last Dare of the night. Before this Harry had dared Ron to say something nice about Malfoy. That took at least 15 minutes. Malfoy had Dared Harry to go down to the teachers dorms and moon Professor McGonagall. Hermione, to Harry's relief shot that down because they couldn't be seen. So instead Harry had to kiss Ron and Malfoy had to get a picture. They had to kiss on the lips while hugging each other. Malfoy had snapped the picture and wanted to keep it for black mail purposes. Then it was Harry's turn. The game had started with Harry and gone all the way around the group until it was back to Harry. Harry consulted Ron and Hermione on this one. It was the grand finale that they had been planning on. Harry turned to Malfoy with a grin on his face of pure triumph. "Malfoy, Truth or Dare!" They already knew what Malfoy would pick. He never picked Truth. "DARE!" Said Malfoy. The trio smiled. "Okay then, you asked for it. We saved the best for last." Harry said. "You have to strip down naked and jump into the lake." Malfoy looked at all three of them. "Are you crazy! There is a giant squid in there! He might eat me!" "I don't think so." Ron said. "I think it will enjoy a little playful swim with you!" Hermione picked up the jar with the little blue flame in it and said, "You may undress yourself now and you may put a cloak around you so you wont be see and so we cant see you. I think I would die if I saw you naked."
Malfoy went over to a dark corner while the others turned their backs. He took a cloak with him and started to undress. He pulled off his pajamas and his undergarments. Then slipped the cloak on. Malfoy stepped out of the corner with his clothes tucked under his arm. "Okay you can turn around, lets go get this over with." As they walked down the steps towards the entrance hall Ron stared singing the funeral march. "Shut up Weasley!" Malfoy spat. Harry and Hermione laughed. Ron joined in. As they got off the stairs and started getting closer to the Entrance Hall, Malfoy was getting more angry. "I cant believe I'm letting you make me do this! It feel so weird under this cloak without any clothes on! And I'm gonna freeze! If I die and my father finds out, you will expelled and never allowed back and you will regret you ever made me do this!" Hermione rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up! I wondered how long it was going to be before you started complaining!"
They got to the entrance hall and opened the great oak front doors and stepped out into cold, powdery snow. "YIKES! Its cold!" Malfoy shouted. Ron put his hand on Malfoys mouth. "SHH! Shut up! Your going to get us caught!" "I don't have any shoes!" Malfoy said angrily. "No one cares, come on the lake is just a short walk from here!" Harry hissed. They trudged through the snow down to the lake. When they got there Malfoy stared complaining again. "The water will be freezing!" He said as the trio pushed him out to the edge of a little dock that was standing over the water. "Oh come on! You said you would do it, now do it!" Ron said. Malfoy looked down at the cold steely colored water. He bent down and stuck his hand in. "BRRRR! It is freezing! Oh and another thing! How am I going to do this with out you seeing me......you know.......naked!? "Oh don't worry Malfoy." Harry said as he and Ron walked behind him on the dock. "I'm sure you will find a way. At that Harry and Ron grabbed the cloak and then pushed Malfoy off the dock. SPLASH! He fell naked into the icy water! Hermione didn't even have to close her eyes it all happened to fast you couldn't see anything. "AHHHHHHHHH! COLD!" Malfoy screamed. The trio looked on in amusement. "HAHAHAHA!" How is the water Malfoy, is it really nice and refreshing?" Ron said with mock interest. Malfoy was splashing around trying to keep moving so he wouldn't freeze. " Your turning blue!" Harry said. "HAHAHA!" Hermione was overcome with laughter she could hardly speak. Then her eyes went wide and she stopped laughing. "Look you guys!" She said to Harry and Ron. Hermione pointed to a ripple in the water moving towards Malfoy and growing bigger. Harry, Ron followed her finger and saw it. They knew it had to be only one thing......THE GIANT SQUID!" Malfoy yelled as tentacles shot up from the water and wrapped themselves around his body! "AHH---!" Malfoy tired to yell but the tentacles were so tight around his stomach and chest he couldn't talk! He couldn't even breathe! The Giant Squid started shaking him around. Obviously only playing with him. When the trio realized this they started cracking up! "Looks like you have a new friend Malfoy!" Harry yelled. Ron was laughing so hard he was crying again. Hermione had grabbed the camera and she pulled it out of her little sack she had. When Harry and Ron saw that she was taking a picture, that threw them into another wave of laughter!" Malfoy was getting tosses side to side and then dunked then dragged back out of the water again by the Giant Squid. Coughing and sputtering, Malfoy tried to call for help but he couldn't! He was drenched!
Hermione raised the camera and yelled, "Smile Malfoy!" SNAP! She took the picture and looked at Harry and nodded her head. Harry knew that meant Malfoy had had enough. He looked at Ron and Ron reluctantly (because he wanted to see Malfoy struggle some more) took out his wand and so did Harry. "Expelliarmus!" They shouted and the Giant Squid dropped Malfoy onto the deck. Hermione covered her eyes. Harry and Ron ran up to Malfoy and threw the cloak on top if him. Malfoy was soaking wet. His hair was, plastered to his head, along with sweat running down his face, but it was hardly distinguishable because of all the water that was dripping off him. Malfoy took the cloak and wrapped it around him. He was as cold as ice and as blue as a cloudless sky. Speaking of sky, a pink orange tint was creeping over the grounds. Sunrise. They had to get back to there dorms and quick! Harry keeping to the word of the game, threw the picture of him and Ron kissing at him and said. "Here is your blackmail, now we have to go and put up your picture! Malfoy had a cold glint in his eye but he nodded his head and snatched the picture out of Harry's hand. The trio ran back up the stone steps into the Entrance Hall and dashed back up to the Gryffindor Common Room after making a quick stop outside the Great Hall. Throwing on the Invisibility Cloak. (It was in Hermione's bag also) The whispered the password. Totally confusing the Fat Lady and scrambling into the Common Room.
Malfoy was left to climb back up to the castle and to his dorm alone. He picked up his clothes and still soaking wet, trudged back up to the Great Oak doors, through the Entrance Hall and strait to the dungeons. He was still so angry he didn't look where he was going. And before he could even get to the dungeon door, the thunder of many feet were heard. All of a sudden all of the student came in heading to breakfast. Malfoy was too slow to get back to his Common Room. The whole crowd of students stopped and stared at him dripping wet, in a cloak carrying pajamas. Malfoy looked in horror as he saw teachers coming up behind their students. Malfoy tried to make a run for it, but the weight of the water on the cloak was too much. POP! The cloak fastenings came undone and it fell to the floor! Malfoy was caught showing his bare rear end to the entire school! People burst out laughing and some fell to the floor from shock. Some screamed out in sarcastic tones such as, "Nice butt Malfoy!" "OMG! Look at that!" Some even whistled. Malfoy went from a shocked white face to red and back to white and he saw Harry, Ron and Hermione in that crowd, and the teachers looking startled standing behind them!
Malfoy picked up the cloak and ran towards the dungeons with all the teachers on his heels! Then as all the students were filing into the Great Hall .some peoples sides hurting from laughing too much looked up on the Great Hall bulletin board. What everyone saw and what their reactions were, is what made the rest of Harry, Ron and Hermione's day. There was the huge moving picture of Malfoy twirling around in the pink dress robes.
