Snape's deeds

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

At least there is this larger than life statue of Salazar in the Chamber of secrets.

Yes, but the statue isn't able to talk; and I think that Slytherin common room didn't have a portrait, it was only an empty wall that slided when you say the password (maybe in Slytherin students decide the password)

ANd I'm sure something important must have happened to Sanpe to change sides, but I just said that he didn't grow up in total darkness.

Don't think so either, that solution would simply be too easy...

Besides, are portraits able to think as normal persons?

maybe it's not just the portraits... the whole place seems to have a kind of sense of humour...
ie doors that arent' really doors, just solid walls pretending????

my house doesn't have solid walls that can pretend to be doors!!!

The Castle seems to ahve a life of its own, ad portraits are part of it; but I'm not sure they can have great inflence in the real world.

My house neither olly, but it would be cool.

I think it's a very good question whether portraits are able to think...or maybe feel...wouldn't that mean they have a kind of soul? But where from? Just imagine someone was taking a portrait of you and a part of you soul would go into it...or be it only the thoughts you have at that moment...scary!

Exactly Neo, about the Fat Lady!
*hrmm,why doesnt'she ahve a name... Fat Lady's bit derogatory dont ya think?? :( *

And the portraits all seem to have their ownpersonality, so it can't just be the caslte's awareness in each of them!

I wonder how they determine which ones can talk and which ones can't.. ebcause the pics on those collectors cards dont' talk, and neither do photo's in the newspaper *boy, wouldnt' it be distracting if you were reading the paper and it was talking to you???* but then some of the speak... :???:

And whe they talk, how do they determine WHAT they say? Or how they feel?
