Okay, so...I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday, not knowing what to expect. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Geoffrey Rush...seemed interesting. Then I find that it's made by Disney. Made it all the MORE interesting. Then...going to see it, made it even more so! Anyway, I just wanted to know what everyone else thought of the movie in general (casting, plot, effects, sexy sword fights...etc)

I personally thought it was brilliant....

Lol, and Johnny Depp in his pretty pirate makeup! So nummy.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie! It was definitely one of the most fun movies I've seen in awhile. It wasn't really that deep or thought-provoking, but I had an absolute blast watching it! And yeah, watching Otlando Bloom wasn't so bad, either.

Otherwise, the effects were great. I liked how when Sparrow was dueling Barbossa, they kept going in and out of the light and changing from their human forms to their undead forms. That was a cool touch. And the underwater shots, excellent. I'd definitely reccommend seeing it!

And I've totally decided to be a pirate when I grow uo.

I have only seen the trailer yet, but I think it is superb!!!!!! Poor me, I will have to wait till Autumn before I can watch it... :eek:

I think iT's across Austria in september or so. *can't wait*
