hi!
since i'm here since .... 2 days ago

... can someone tell me how titles change, while posting?
i mean ... yesterday i was muggle, and today i'm "first year student" (i think because i wrote more than 10 posts) ...

It works like this. If you have a certain amount of posts, you go to the next year at Hogwarts. First you are a muggle, then first-year, second-year, etc. Till you've got 125 posts, after that you become a 'fully qualified wizard'. If you want to, you can ask Paul, the board administrator, to change that (the 'fully qualified wizard'), into something you prefer. I, for example, have chosen 'Supreme Mugwump' and Huffleduck is 'Keeper of the Lakes' if I'm not mistaken. Have fun on the boards! :Þ

i chose my title thing cause i love jazz, listening, playing whatever, and, well, if i'm from plante X, then it might as well be universal! :-)

well, i'm not quite at 125 posts yet, but i'm thinking that the title i will choose when i do get there is Lady of the Lake. in the King Arthur legends (which i really like and am interested in...yeah, go ahead, call me a nerd

), the Lady of the Lake basically gives King Arthur excalibur, and marries sir pellias, and some more stuff :grin:

. also, my name Charis is the real name of the Lady of the Lake in my second favorite book series that are about King Arthur and Merlin. (Charis is Merlin's mother). well, there you go, some background info! i'm sure you all wanted to know all of it heehee

I reached 125 quite a while ago now, and would like a title, but can't think of what it could be....... nothing seems very appropriate at the moment :-?

If you like you could post the aspect and things about HP you most like and I could suggest titles for you? At the moment Paul's busy reading book 5 though and won't be changing them.

I pm Paul about my title... but I think he's too busy reading OotP now, so he hasn't had the time to change it yet. Not that I blame him... the Harry Potter series are un-put-downable! =P

Anyway, my title would be "Lady in White"... for no other reason than that I love the colour white and often wear white (in terms of clothes)... and hence the title. ^_~ Simple, ne? :grin:

Ron and Sirius (both hilarious and they have some classic lines! :lol:

) "He may have crawled into the airing cupboard and died, but i musn't get my hopes up" ~sirius. sorry i have a strange sense of humour.
I love the idea of a magical world in general (yes i have an over-active imaginaition and am still waiting for my Hogwarts letter :grin:

Well, my custom title was quite a while in the making! After welcoming someone, Sonkem accidentally put a spell in my shoes which made me dance non-stop :eek:

(she was trying to fix the heels!!! :grin:

), so Dancer of the Dances, and with my name being Holly Golightly (Breakfast at Tiffany's), I decided that I needed something a little more Hogwarts~ish, so Keeper of the Keys...

I debated about which one of the two to use for a while, then just asked Paul if I could have both, and aparently so! :circling:

Also, I'm a mod for Ravenclaw, so the Prefect part, and on the Quiddich team, so that's in there aswell! Boy, it's a wonder there is room for all that stuff in there! (Hrmmmm, anyone reading that all will probably think that I actually do stuff, hehehe!

)
