I would have to disagree. I think the introduction of Cho in PoA sets the tones for Harry's actions and reactions in GoF and OotP.

You think that they would have to introduce her in PoA, but then again they completly cut out Penelope Clearwater in CoS..and I guess that there just leaving her out of all the movies all together..but thats kinda sad..

Thats what i really dont understand. Why do they have to cut him out in his last year? This is the year he wins the cup (and gets more frantic cuz he LOST to hufflepuff)...they shouldnt do that..anyways back to Cho...or penolope, i think shes going to be in this book cuz you know they are dating in the book (peneolope and percy) plus they are head boy and head girl. Cho will most probably come out in GoF, but i do think they are going to but a chinese person who is very beautiful in the ravenclaw table, so ppl will think its cho.

Well when my friend went to New York, she said that they were having auditions for Cho..but being as she was only there like..a month ago..and i'm pretty sure they probably started filming a WHILE ago..I doubt she will be in PoA.. But I still don't get why they are cutting Wood..he was in the last 2 films..and what are they going to do during Quidditch scenes!?

I could imagine Wood not being in the scenes and Harry holding the cup at the end instead of Wood. I mean how many goals do Gryffindor concede in PoA??

If they're going to have Quidditch, there would be no point in cutting Wood's part.

From what I know, Wood's definitely not on PoA... but Quidditch is still on, and this has been confirmed... I don't know how they're going to manage that though... perhaps just some extra pretending to be Wood... maybe they're just going to film his back or something?
