Gloucester Cathedral

Postby Hermy » Wednesday 27 August 2003 10:07:57am

I came across this on my local area news site. It's all about how Gloucester cathedral was used in the first two HP movies. It gives you a bit of a virtual tour of the parts used in the movie and has lots of bits of information. Hope you find it interesting!

Did you see this?

JK Rowling was born in the county and went to school in the Forest of Dean. Not for nothing are Harry's horrible adoptive family called the Dursleys - Dursley is a Gloucestershire town.

Dursley must be the pits:)

It's not too far away from me, but I've never been.
It's very rural. If I ever go, I'll tell you what it is like. Anyway, Dursley might be very nice, and JKR named the Dursleys after someone rather than somewhere.
