okay, i know that to most of you this is just a stupid little school girl fight but it's a big deal to me cuz i am a school girl. anyways, heres my problem:

i have this friend i met like a year ago and as soon as we were friends it was really intense. we spent like every possible minute together, i ignored all my other friends, and we knew everything there was to know in like a week.
then we started fighting. all the time. just about stupid little stuff, sometimes way overblowing it.
but she changed. first she was all nice and stuff, but then she just stopped trying to be nice to me, and was always saying stuff just to get attention. like, "I hate my parents" and if i said why she like, "i can't tell you" just because she wants me to beg her to say more. ugh
i told her when school started that we shouldn't spend so much time together cuz i can't ignore my other friends, they're just as important. she like, okay, i understand, i have other friends at school too. and she really doesn't, except for like one other person who she never sees. everything she does annoys me and i just don't want to be her friend anymore. but i feel really bad. ugh i hate this!

Well if she really is annoying you that much then u need to make it clear that you dont want to spend as much time with her. or else you'll start bitching about her to other people and then she'll be more upset than if u'd just told her the situation in the first place.
I'm sure it'll all be fine, and while she may be upset with you now, it'll all blow over pretty quick.
take care x

I'm male, so i probably dont understand all the finite details of this problem.

however, you will resent her if you dont tell her what u think. plus, it's unhealthy for her to rely on you soo much

on a vendictive note, you could introduce her to an even more annoying friend ;)

spending too much time with someone will do that. maybe you do like her but too much of a good thing is ALWAYS BAD. just subtly avoid her and talk to your other friends loads.

if she seems fine about spending less time together than it shold be ok but if she is still ANNOYING then say in the nicest way "go away"

sorry ill write something niice later.

lol, although amusing probably wouldn't solve much!

Just tell her straight that she is annoying! sometimes people just need to be told. sorry if that sounds harsh, but well she'll probably carry on being annoying if she doesn't know that she is being

i have had a similar problem before, although probably not as severe. In the end i never had to tell anyone that they were annoying, they just stopped.
