Hey Paul and the Mod Squad! I'd be really thrilled if I could help out here by modding the Great Hall. It's in the "Mod post open" thread there but I thought I'd say it here as well. As Lizzy said, I have previous modding experience and I think I would do good. I'd be really eager for the job. But please, consider all options and decide which one see as most fit, because I'm sure there more than one member here who could do the job very well.

Sincere thanks for all the offers everyone! There is some technical stuff I need to sort out first before creating any new Moderators. Once this is sorted, there will be a small announcement about a minor additional moderator requirement which I'll be making. Hopefully everyone who has asked will be able to fulfil the requirements - it's nothing major but just an extra security precaution for the board.

YAY! I finally hit 125 posts...Paul, may I be a moderator for the Characters section, please? I think I could be helpful there. Also, is there a limit to how many areas a person can mod? Ooooh, one last thing, can someone from my house (not me...I'm too new!) be the 4th prefect for Slytherin? I think there are many good candidates. Ok, well, let me know what you decide!

Congratulations on becoming a Fully Qualified Wizard, Ginny, and sincere thanks for offering to become Moderator of the Characters Section. Very happy to confirm that you've got the place! Welcome to the Wonderful World of Wizardly-Moderatorship!




Up until recently there's been a maximum of 3 places that any one person can Moderate, but I'm gradually increasing this to 4 as the forum is growing. The maximum number of Moderators per forum has also been 3 up to now (4 for the house Common Rooms), but I seem to be, bit-by-bit, increasing this to 4 per forum in general too

By the way, I totally agree, there are some fab Slytherins who I'd be only too glad to make Prefects. I won't mention any names - don't want to make anyone blush or to feel any pressure about taking a Prefect place, but if any Slytherins are thinking about it, please do feel free to ask. Same thing applies to Hufflepuff (who are the only House without the full 4 Prefects) too.
