Hurricane Bessy

Postby Devinci » Friday 19 September 2003 2:59:19am

Man, I'm sitting here, listening to the wind outside...hard to believe I'm in the middle of a hurricane and I'm just...chilling, reading, eating some crackers...just kickin back.... 8)

You'd never guess nature was being completey ravished outside my walls... :-?

This did have a point, I just wanted to know if anyone else was, bunkering down for the hurricane, (isabelle, bessy sounds better though...don't you think) hitting the east coast of the good ol U S of A....

If you mean Hurricane Isabel, then yes I've heard of it. As a resident of Maryland, I can tell you that it was bad. The wind was worse than the rain, but I still got off school Thursday and Friday.

It's over and all it's left was lots of flooding, a beautiful day with a nice breeze, and a man who died in his favorite chair reading the Bible when a tree crushed him in his mobile home. Creepy.

I used to live in South Carolina too :D ! But not anymore, now I'm stuck in Michigan with hoopsmaster sitting through the icky rain (which TOTALLY made my apple-picking trip very very muddy! :x )

picking apples in the rain doesn't sound very fun! :D

but after the bad weather yesterday, it's a perfect day today, about 70 and not a cloud in the sky.
