Phobias? YES!

I can't stand spiders either! Creepy little things! EW!

I also have Acrophobia - fear of heights... no rollercoasters for this gal!

Balloons, too! I hate when they pop! :o

I sort of have a fear of tight spaces. But I mean really tight spaces. Though I'm not one of those people who just get sick when thier forced into a tight space.

Well choco, they dont really scare me, they just freak me out. Umm yes fear of hights is a phobia although I cannot think of the scientific name of it right now. Yes clostriphobia (dont know if i spelled that right) is a phobia. Allthough you may not have it as bad as others do, you still dont like enclosed spaces and that i think, qualifies.

Closterphobia. Very icky thing to have, I'm guessing?

I have a fear of being late. It's an unusual phobia, (and I forget it's real scientific name) but I get really worked up if we're going to be late for a party, or a movie, or a get-together. I keep saying 'C'mon, go faster, we have ot get there!" and stuff like that, and I'm full of a really horrible anxiety, and I start to cry and wring my hands and bite my nails.

It's really awful, but I can't help it--I have a phobia of being late! And no, it's not just a bad habit--it's really a phobia.

Then why can't I remember what it's called!? Hum.

I hate spiders too, but not enough to have Aracnaphobia (sp?) like Sonkem and Ron. But they do creep me out, and if they're in my house they get killed more than likely. They have too many legs and too many eyes and....!!!

I used to be scared of spiders, but I got over that when I practically lived with them.

I have quite a list, thinking about it  maybe I should see a psychologist? :(

Luna_Puella wrote:Closterphobia. Very icky thing to have, I'm guessing?

clostriphobia

Hahaha, nice. I have Claustrophobia too, but not so bad that I can't use an elevator. But do you know those tubes fro kids to crawl through on playgrounds? OMG, the terrify me :o

Also I'm scared of heights very badly, I mean not when I'm on a ladder, but higher up. I can't look down from a high balcony, or from St. Paul's Cathedral in London  (and similar places), no rollercoasters for me either, nonono! The worst thing was having to walk up Wallace monument in Stirling/Scotland. It's only a staircase with tiny little windows and you can hardly see anything but I had to turn around half way up. It's not even a very high tower  (ask Sonkem).

Then I have a thing called Aichmophobia, which is fear of sharp and pointy things, like knives, needles and stuff. Point a knife at me, and I'll run. :o

What's the fear of dentists called? I definitely have that one. :-?

Anything else? hmmmm.....oh yeah spiders and buggy things are freaky too, but only if they are quite big.

Looks as if I'd win this contest, huh? God, I'm a wuss.
