In the beggining of the 6th book, Luna might well become some sort of support for Harry: she sees Thestrals (well, now Ginny also does cause she saw Black dying, I think) and she heard something in the veil...

Wait, wait... out of topic, but: There were three people in the archway room looking atonished to the veil: Harry, Luna and Ginny. Could this mean Ginny was about to see someone dying? And did Neville also stare at the veil (I can't remember!!!).

Back to the topic:

I think Harry will see in Luna some good friend to share some of the great mysteries surronding him...

Well, there were four people stairing at the veil. Harry, Luna, Ginny and Neville, and three out of four of them saw the Thestrals, and I'm still not completely convinced that Ginny didn't see them too... And if she seemed not to, maybe she was just pretending for Ron's sake, because maybe he doesnt' know that she's seen someone die... (if she has that it! :???: )

That means Ginny is more close to Harry than she seems to be... But so is Luna. Hmm!! Well, having to chose between them I'd say he would chose Ginny, but... Luna could indeed be a very good friend to talk about what he does and the others don't, cause luna seems to have experiences a lot in her life and knows things that (possible untrue) could be real...

Yeah, but considering Luna from Harry (or aparently alot of others too)'s point of view... could you really take everything that she says seriously?

I mean, she does seem to believe some freaky kinds of things!

Right you are... but she was able to see Thestrals and told him, she seemed to know that Harry also heard those voices in the veil without even ask him, I start to think some of the things she say are true (even if those Horklumps or whatever she says the ministry has exist...)

i had the srtrangest dream last night! it doesn't really have too much signifigance but it has to do with harry potter so i'll post it anyway
the sixth book came out early (that part was great!) but instead reading i sort of watched it.. you know how it is in dreams. but it was all wierd... like.. Ron and Luna got together and then Harry and Ginny and then Ron and Hermione were together and it was like Luna disappeared! i was so confused :-( i did get to meet JKR though!

anyway... about Ron and Hermione's relationship having a bad effect on Harry, I think that once their relationship either develops or comes out into the open (whichever you prefer) they'll all be mature enough for it to work out. I don't think a romantic relationship would change too much between the friendship of the Harry, Ron and hermione.

and about all six of them getting getting closer thats a good point, but i don't think anything can really change the trio... more people will come and go but the trio stays the same! :D but... i think the one person that has a better chance of becoming "one of them" (i hate saying that) is Ginny because i think Ginny and Harry will eventually get together and she is already closer than most because of Ron.

I just remembered the sort of
"did you kiss her, how was it ?
wet !"
discussion between harry and ron after harry kisses cho.
and I think ron was seriousley curious, I mean he wouldn't be able to fake that sort of interest, and he really asks that the first I think ...
but anyway, I think that if ron and hermione are going out or will go out together, the y will wait for harry to have a stable relationship with a girl to tell him so that he isn't left out (since I believe that two of them just couldn't go out together w/out affecting the third)
and just thinking about it does anyone think there could be a homosexual relationship in such a book ?? I wonder if JKR would allow herself if ever she wanted ?

Yeah, she does always say that she never intends to put or whatever into the books, so I just can't see that kind of think happening...

At least... it would be very very strange!
But I think she wouldn't write such a thing!

That is also kind of why I dont' think that JK woudl ahve Ron and Hermoine in a secret kind of relationship, or well, keeping it from harry anyways. It's kind of too mcuh of a devious thing for his 'two best friends' to do to him... Poor Harry...

I don't think that JK would do that to Harry... :(

I know! I was thinking about all the pain she put him through with Sirius, but then... Sirius died helping to save Harry, and everyone else... taht is kinda different to his friends betraying his trust by not telling him things that are important in their life.
I know that hey didnt' tell him about the OotP either, but then they were under orders from DD then.

And, thinking about that, considering how mad/upset/angry Harry was then, and DD told them not to say anything, don't you think that they would think twice about keeping things from him again???

Well i'm guessing that if they are concealing anything from Harry it wasn't a decision that was taken lightly. I also think that if they were having a relationship then it would be Hermione who would have chosen to hide it... i don't know exactly what makes me think that...
