I think Hermione would be very much into classical music or similar stuff ... but I'm sure she could not entirely resist one of the zillion boygroups as well

Ron could be a fan of punkier stuff like Busted or Bloodhound Gang... 8-)

And Harry...? That's not so easy...what about Alanis Morissette?

I think Hermione and Harry, living in muggle environment almoust all their lives, were forced to listen to music. I agree with your thoughts about Hermione - classical music, slow
Harry certainly listened to something while he was at Dursleys. But I can't imagine what... ... ... I really don't know!
Ron? He would listen to... hm... I'm really not good at this guessing thing. Red Hot Chilli Peppers! He would listen to that!

Anyway, I think Hermione would be on the more, intellectual rock side...like David Grey or...REM
I totally agree with the Harry Red Hot Chili Peppers thing...he'd probably listen to some Tool or A Perfect Circle, to get some of that anger out...
Maybe Ron too, Ron's got some pent up anger too.

seriously, i can see ron listening to linkin park, queen, eminem.

hermione...lillix, evanescence, REM, coldplay, switchfoot.

harry...nickelback, evanescence, linkin park, offspring, jet, eminem.

I really could imagine that she would tell everybody that she prefers classical stuff (and this might also be true) but as a well kept secret she adores one special singer who is in a boygroup like westlife or stuff like that

Its a good question actually, ´cos Harry and his pals dont seem to be very musically inclined...

Ron..hm...I think he's mixed.Sometimes he would listen REM sometimes Coldplay and sometimes Linkin Park.

Harry,I don't think he would listen metal,rock...I think rap,hip-hop or R&B suits him the best,it's all about unhappy childhood and sad life
