Goblins

Goblins

We have seen the culture of house elves and centaurs, but hardly anything about the goblins, other than the fact that they run Gringotts. I think they will have a large impact in the next books. They could be powerful allies to DD, as they control Brittan's wizarding economy. Why has so little been said about the goblins, and will they have a key role in the Second War?

i would personally like to know more about the goblins, also. it doesn't say anything about them in 'fantastic beasts and where to find them'... a bit dissapointing, i think. goblins could certainly have a major role in the next hp book... that would be interesting.

maybe JK hasnt mentioned them in fantastic beasts cause they will play a key role in later books, and making too much reference to them now might spoil it later

Wizard histories show that there were many conflicts with the Goblins. Going along with this, the books have almost taken a turn into making a social point of showing the need for harmony amongst the different groups of beings. I feel we will learn more about the former conflicts as the characters learn more about respecting others. Wizard and Goblin relations will definently play a more prominent role in the final books.

I think Goblins are not 'monsters'. In the beggining of the 'Fantastic Monsters and Where to Find Them' it states that some beings are not monsters... That's why there is no mention to them in the book... (I think!)
But I do think they'll have a very imoprtant role in the future.

From all the references about goblins being very intelligent but not very nice to deal with, they could really turn it around for whoever gets them on their side in the war.
I reckon book 6 will be really dark times for the goodies, but luring the goblins off the fence to the good side will help turn the tide.

What powers do Goblins have?? I mean, a goblin rebellion would not be a success if the Gobs didn`t some sort of magical powers... I think
