Ummm... assuming Percy is short for Percival, anyone wanna guess how that storyline will play out?
Percival was the name of a famous knight in the legend of the Holy Grail. In spite of his power as a warrior, Percival was naive (so's Percy) and through his ignorance, was supposedly responsible for the death of his mother and an uncle.

I think the "uncle" could be Sirius, since we know that, even though Sirius isn't his uncle, they are related, and that Percy's lack of insight, his fear, and his ignorance will lead to Mrs. Weasley's death.

Nooooo! She must NOT DIE!!

But if Percy is really short for Percival, have you thought that Albus's full name is Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore? Hmm!!! Did DD let his uncle and mother die?? He doesn't seem the guy let that happen, even if his family was not the family he would want to have.

 im not sure whether anyone will die in hp 6 but possibly in hp 7 :-(

theres so many things that have to happen so things can be explained b4 the end of the series.

i belive that someone of the 3 (harry ron hermione) i dont have any sources but i think the story will end too happily if it does happen.

it will not be harry because she doesn't really write twist ending except for book 4. harrys the hero and cant die

i dont belive it will be hermione, she has a differend role to play, possibly garunteeing harry a place as an auror?? :???:

that leaves ron, hes a great mate of harry and all...but i dont belive that he will stay alive. if ron does die, it will bring harry and the weasley family together....harry might even discover a new love with ginny?? :)

I think I did read somewhere where J.K. Rowling said she wasn't killing off one of the three.

Why would you think there wouldn't be a death in book 6 when the war is really getting underway and already people have died? :-)

Welcome master_o_magic!

I do believe someone will die in the upcoming book, but not an important person, though!

Continuing on topic: I now belive that the first people to die in the 6th book will be anonymous, some wizards and maybe muggles!
On the other hand, I think that someone Harry knows will also die, and that might be one of the students that was part of the Dumbledore Army.

Heya

I do believe there will be a lot more deaths in the last 2 books, muggles and wizards, all killed by Voldemort.

I also think someone closer to harry will die. :-(

Even though i have no proof, this is jsut the feeling i got after reading the books.

There will be more deaths before Harry/Neville duel with Voldemort like the prophet says.

master: oh, okay, I was thinking you said you didn't think anyone would die in 6 but would in 7... :-)

yeah, i think we'll definately be sayin s-eye-a-nar-ah (i can't spell it, say it out loud and it might make sense :-)) to a few more main characters. but I don't think it'll be harry & co. More likely to be adults, i think...

Voldy's goal is to kill everyone in his way on his rise to power....

1. nameless "nobodies" (Frank Bryce, who learned too much)
2. people who have "served their uses" (Bertha Jorkins)
3. people who stand in his way (Bode, Lily & James)
4. people who fight against him and his followers (Sirius)
5. mudbloods
6. DUMBLEDORE! If Voldy ever plans to be in power, he's got to dispose of Dumbledore. Doesn't it seem ominous that people keep saying "as long as Dumbledore's around, everything's safe"?

I don't think all the Hogwarts students are safe, we learned with Cedric that they're safe as long as they're with Dumbledore, but they're not safe all the time. I think some of the DA kids are in danger (lesser ones, though... Michael Corner, the Goldstein kid, Padma, Parvati, or Lavender, someone like that... not the six fighters at the end of book 5)

Of the Weasley kids, I think Ginny's safe (she's already been the damsel in distress, and now she's shining through as a tough chick)... I don't think anyone in the trio will go, so Ron's safe... Just WHAT is Bill doing now? Fred and George aren't afraid to fight if their honor is at stake and they're not afraid to annoy under any circumstances... they could be a hassle for old Voldy. Percy's put himself in a bad position, and in book 6 we'll probably see which way he turns (hopefully he can swallow his pride). Charlie's dealing with dragons and foreign wizards....

oh yeah, about Bill (sorry, guys, it's after midnight and my mind's rambling)... He deals with goblins. Ever noticed what the lesson is 90% of the time in History of Magic? The Goblin rebellions. How many rebellions were there? How long did they last. Who did they rebel from? Any time Harry misses a lesson or Ron forgets a detail in class, it's important. Will the Goblins ultimately be on our side? Is Bill in any danger working with them?

still think Mrs. Weasley's gonna kick the bucket... the rest is just speculation...

if mrs weasley does get killed who will take care of the family. It'll fall apart. Mr Weasley is out working all day. I dont think any of the boys can cook. Even when Mrs Weasley is around there's always some sort of trouble happening. Who will control the boys??

Not only that, Ginny will take care of the boys in the family. She does seem mature nowadays.
