It was kinda like DD said tho' maybe if sirius had treated kreacher with a bit more respect than kreacher wouldn't have betrayed him. Maybe hermione is right with her idea of that club... what was it SPEW or something?
I mean kreacher just took what sirius said the wrong way... that's all

o i definately think so... he obviously considers her close enough kin to take orders from, even without the blacks gone, and we already know he doesn't take orders from harry... I think it'll be her or bellatrix...

maybe you are right about him being a snotrag then! All that is left for him are wizards who are clearly Death Eaters, but even with a new master he can't tell them about the orders plans can he?? I don't think he can... if i remember rightly even dobby had trouble talking about the malfoys even tho' dumbledore is now his master?

technically, he's got good wizards and bad wizards... tonks is a cousin, too, remember? wonder if elves get to choose who they go to after the end of a direct line dies? if they do, that would tell us a lot about Kreacher.

I don't know... if they were declared free, I'd have thought we'd have seen some free house elves running around... then again, Dumbledore "hired" Dobby and Winky after they were given freedom... maybe all the house elves who have given freedom by default (their masters died) go to Hogwarts to work... *shrug*

Dobby only went to work because he wanted paying for his work, thats right! when they are freed they are then able to go looking for work themselves aren't they? Winky was saying in GoF that Dobby couldn't get work anywhere because he wanted paying, so he must have been going round, looking for work! so kreacher will proberbly go straight to the Malfoys!

little git kreacher! if elves can pick their masters after being declared free. y wouldn't an elf pick the weasley's. they are the greatest family you'll find. they wouldn't punish you and elves dont need payin anyway! and the weasleys are purebloods and elves are linked to pureblood familys in the books (Malfoys, Blacks, Crouchs)

Nah... I don't think Kreacher would go to the weasleys... besides, I think elves are really connected with pureblood families, and pureblood families (at least most of them) are connected with Evil, so elves are connected with evil!

i thought that they were connected to wealthy familys, ron said in CoS, that you would never catch a house-elf in their house, they usually are found in old manors and things...

How's Dobby popping in and out of Hogwarts with a loud CRACK! if you can't apperate or dissapperate within Hogwarts?

I don't recall Dobby apparating/disapparating inside Hogwarts. He disapparated at the Dursleys in CoS when he levitated the cake but I don't think he did it at any other time.

I may just be forgetting though - I read slowly and don't remember a lot of things. Mmm I sound like Neville!
