In Mobile, AL, it is illegal to wear high-heel shoes downtown. And its enforced too! The other night i was out clubbing and i got a $10 fine!!!
My mom said its because there are these graits all along the sidewalks and women were getting their heels caught in the drains, falling and breaking their ankles and then suing the city. Still a crazy law eh?

It sounds ridiculous but breaking one´s ankles isn´t enjoyable either so it´s plausible...
