Postby Gypsy » Sunday 13 June 2004 10:04:03pm

This is a place for us Europeans to discuss Euro 2004, but in particular for all England fans to vent their frustration about the game that will not be mentioned. I'll start:

Yeh, I agree. And I have no idea what Gerrard thought he was doing basically passing to Henry. At least Croatia and Switzerland drew, so if we beat Switzerland and draw with Croatia and France win both their games we should go through. It was so gutting though getting soooo close and then throwing it away stupidly.

Yeah, when Zidanes free kick went in, I thought lets at least draw this, and then in a matter of moments, we've gifted them another goal.

I've been monitoring htis thread and still no one has mentioned the word "soccer" or "football."
Someone who doesn't know what Euro 2004 is might be thinking we're mad about quidditch.

Well I don't follow Euro all that much. Partly because it's not aired here. The only soccer I ever watch is the FIFA World Cup or internatoinal friendlies involving my country.

NOOOOOOOOOO!
I must say the judge wasn't fair and our coach might have been paid to let in only the stinky players while the really good ones were sitting on the bench :x
