Which LOTR is your favorite? I'm not really sure, I like different parts from all of them. Out of the ones that have singing in them I didn't really like Into the West at first, but it's growing on me the more I listen to it. May It Be is the best ever and Gollum's Song from the Two Towers just kinda scared me :-D...what does everyone think about Something Wicked This Way Comes in the HP preview...not to sure about it myself

...hmmm....not really sure. Right now I think my fav is the ROTK but I also like TTT one. The FOTR soundrack isn't too bad but it's not one of my favourits to listen to.

Something Wicked This Way Comes is actually quite good. Personaly I like it  .

Choki:
Definitely agree...I will never forget playing the Emperor's Theme as well as the Rebel March on Bass and Violin...very complex...but it was worth every moment of it :-D

Marina:
Yeah, I do like the actual music and the piece itself...I'm just a bit thrown as to how they are going to put it into the movie or if it was made SOLELY for the previews ya know?...it's always a bit different when composers put pieces with words in them into mostly classical soundtracks(i.e. LOTR: ROTK...Denethor tells Pippin to sing...so that works) am i making any sense?

I also love the soundtrack to Lord of the Rings, as well as Pirites of the Carribean. Also, there is a song off of Spiderman 2 album called Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional, and I like that song as well.

Marcus you and I are of the same mind here.
The music of Rohan is so wonderfully broad and expansive.
It brings to mind large open spaces and it is extreamly powerful like the Roherim themselves.
My four yr. old loves the music of Rohan the best of all of the soundtracks. All three hold a permanent place in our mini van.
My 6 yr. old's favorite song from the discs is Gollum's song, although the 4 yr. old likes that one too. They both sing to that one as well as the song about the ships going into the west.

I have never heard a sound track from any of the HP movies but Barry I also have the soundtrack to Titanic and it is Fabulous.
Again both my girls sing to every song on that one but their favorite is the Irish dancing music. They like to put that on and dance around the room the way they did in the movie.
I used to sing the opening piece to Emmy when she was a baby. I don't know what the name is but it is definatly Irish in tone. There are no words, just oooohhhh. Do you know the one I mean?

Vindicated is awesome! DC rocks! both spiderman soundtracks were excellent, along with the Punisher soundtrack, the daredevil one, and smallville soundtrack. actually, platinumstepper, "Broken" is actually done by Seether featuring Amy Lee, who is the lead singer of evanescence.

I love the daredevil soundtrack...that is how I discovered Evenessence in the first place. "Broken" is also a good song.

When i first read this i about committed suicide...I have heard from several usually reliable sources (mugglenet, wizardnews, and stuff like that), that JOHN WILLIAMS MAY NOT SCORE GOF!!! If he didnt, i would probably lock myself in my room and never come out. In the first two movies i thought the music was ok, but way too repetetive. However, despite its many shortcomings, Prisoner of Azkaban had a MUCH better soundtrack. The music is simply amazing. If Williams doesnt score GoF, it would break the whole continuity of the score, becaues all of them really work together even though the third is so different. I suppose if i HAD to pick someone else to do the music, id say Howard Shore. He did an awesome job with LOTR, but...hes no John Williams. Anyone else upset about this?
