), I think it's important to mention that I really dont' think he would be involved with some breach of muggle-related law. With the slight exception of the Ford Anglia, he seems to be very intent on Muggle-related laws and security, and is quite strict with his children for them to follow those standards. The Ford Anglia incident, btw, appears to be more of a bumbling mistake, since he doesn't appear to have really intended to have anyone see it flying. He's clueless when it comes to Muggles (despite his fascination with them), but he tries very very hard to follow the laws, if not by the letter, by the spirit.Sorry if this sounds old fashioned, but I still care about politicians breaking the law! Not that it matters, becuase he won't be the new MoM.
Percy isn't qualified at all: He lacks experience, age / maturity and friends with influence. And he is a nerd.Paintballdecoy wrote:I think it will be someone in the Order who becomes the new MoM. Or it could be Percy, you never know, maybe he knocks Fudge off and appoints himself MoM.

Maybe my mind is running wild, but how about this idea: What if the ministry is taken over in a revolution? The ruling party swept away? Arthur and other members of the order would be fired of course. Death eaters and Azkaban's guards could be set free. The Malfoy clan could take over. Amnesty for LV? This would be a lot to fight against for the order.
I hadn't even read this yet before making the Argentina comment, but yeah... I actually kind of like this. For the next two books, instead of things getting better and more fair, things just get totally black, then there's some hope at the end.
