[RANT]I was watching a program on PBS the other night. They were on their fundraising campaign, which is fine with me. Then they start talking about Mr. Rogers and what a wonderful person he was, and I'm fine with that, too, because it'd be wrong for them to go through the entire night with
out mentioning his name once. But then they said something like, "We hope you find us as good neighbors as Mr. Rogers was, and will become a member of PBS for his sake". That made me furious. They were exploiting Mr. Roger's death to get more members for PBS?
I'm sure they got lots of members now since they used the emotional ploy, but argh . . . that's just so sad . . . [/RANT]
