Hello, I'm new here and i wish to be sorted into a house, I'am not botherd which one, please sort me!

Hmm, I'm not sure how it works here...see I could have sorted you into Gryffindor by claiming you first...but Ju-DeoH asked for the next person to be in Hufflepuff so I respect his wishes in this case.

You could try the sorting hat at WB, Harry Potter site to see what house that sorts you into?

Or you could wait a while and we could best judge your personality and to which house you belong?

To my knowledge, the way this is supposed to work (I believe) is that if you are unsure of what house you wish to join, you can ask 'the sorting hat' (otherwise known as our forum admin., Paul) to sort you into a house...all you'll need to do is give him (by posting on this thread and/or writing him a PM) a few details about your interests and personality, so he has a better idea of where to sort you. That's the fairest way...otherwise, houses whose prefects are not on as much at this time would be at a real disadvantage for members.

All of the houses are fabulous :-)

, so if you'd like to leave it to Paul to sort you into a house, just leave him a message here (and I'd PM him, as well, as you don't know which he'll check first), and if you decide that you know which house you want to go to, just pick one and post your preference here. If you have any questions, I would suggest reading this thread which should help:

Sorry to double-post, but if you are new or still relatively new to the forum and how sorting works (and if you are a new prefect), please read the above weblink as it's helpful to seeing how the process works and keeping it fair.

Everyone should have a fair shot at new members, and as always, the most important choice is the one the non-sorted person makes. :grin:

Best of all, we have some fabulous new prefects, and so now all houses have three, which should help sorting considerably!

No, not automatically! But if it's Ravenclaw that you want to be put in to now, I can certainly do it for you! (or Paul, or one of our other Ravenclaw Prefects, Lizzie and Barry!)

I was about to put you in just then, but decided that it would be better to make sure first... just because that page sorted you into Ravenclaw, doesnt' mean you have to come join our house!!! (Dont' get me wrong, I'd love it if you did, I just dont' want to force you in to something your not sure about!!!) :grin:

Anyways, I'll be back in an hr or 2, got a movie to watch!!! And if you've come back and are sure about Ravenclaw (I hope so!!!

) I'll sort you then!

I think Hufflepuff is a great house, and I honestly don't understand why people wouldn't want to join...I think like Barry said, membership probably flucuates between houses...when I joined in early June, Hufflepuff had the most members by far, so there had to be a time when everyone was joining Hufflepuff! I see no reason that won't happen again eventually...it's a lot of fun in there from what I hear! :grin:
